It is a mere reaction to all the "Xmas" hassle.... keep Christmas simple... turkey and stuffing salad sandwich... bottle of wine... half a Christmas pud for afters... another bottle of wine... open presents... and another bottle of wine... watch "Where Eagles Dare"!! Finish with a whisky, or a whiskey... or a brandy... and some fine, home-made mince tarts. All that's needed is a good log fire to sit in front of for the presents, the movie and the digestif!
So you gave up the chairs on the sofa at nihght and the dog is aloud to sleep on it in day light? mine is atill doing it only at nights and sometimes when she thinks i am not at home.
Erm......it's just a thought Cro - if Lady M. sees this post, will you be out of hospital in time to enjoy Christmas? Can you manage on crutches - the dog walks might be difficult
The great thing about being retired, Rachel, is that you always wonder how on earth you ever got the time to go to work ! It's true - ask anyone, and the little naps creep up on you !

Naps are wonderful things. Even dogs understand this!
And caught in the act!
It is not a crime!!!
No it isn't!
If loving naps is wrong, I don't wanna be right! :)
Certainly not; I do it myself.
There are times when it all gets too much, and a little nap is just the answer !

I think a bigger sofa is required Cro - they look a little cramped.
A post-Lunch power nap!
Now that sounds like a (hic!) plan !
That's just about how it happens here, although I'll swap Where Eagles Dare for A Wonderful Life. Lady M's Mince Pies are to die for!
She has a two-seater, I have a three-seater. You can probably guess why.
I do like the way that Bok has got his arm around her. Sleep well both of you.
Poor things. You must have tired them out! I love a little siesta myself. It's one of my weekend treats.
Lady M will be planning her revenge...

Very cosy!
It's one of my DAILY treats; a quick 10 minute power-nap after lunch.
We still put the chairs on at night, but then she invites him to sit with her during the day... It doesn't make sense.
Don't giver her ideas, she's wicked enough already.

At least you didn't take a picture of her sleeping with her mouth open.
I love that Bok seems to be hugging Lady M. That is so sweet.
She's just seen it.... I'm limping a bit.
That's why I took the photo, I thought it was so funny.
I have never ever taken a nap. I wonder when I will start.
It starts the day you retire.
Thanks - my first morning giggle.
In that case I shall put off retiring as long as possible, probably forever.
You're welcome, Marty.

Bok's love has no bounds.
That image will be with me for a very long time.
Thank you for sharing it with us.
If I was Lady M, I'd wallop you !!!!! XXXX
There have been quite a few days in the past week when I was longing for a nap...but circumstances did not permit me this recharging.
I foresee a nap on Christmas afternoon.
Best wishes.
He's a very affectionate boy.
She did have words!
I love a short nap after lunch; usually just 10 mins, but it does the job.
