Still plenty of mushrooms in the woods; this group of 7 is quite a rarity. I shall spend most of the day bottling. (I noticed that the price of Cépes dropped from €16 per Kilo yesterday, to €10 today; a sign of how many there are about!)
It was a pretty miserable day, so we went off to a boot sale at the nearby village of St Front-sur-Lémance. We needn't have bothered; total rubbish.
Otherwise the small village has its moments. The 12th C church doorway is nice.
There are filled-in medieval doorways and windows everywhere.
And plenty of interesting architecture.
It rained for most of the morning, so we stayed indoors and watched 'Pingu' with Bunny. The warm sunshine returned at about 4pm-ish.
All Sundays are equal... but some Sundays are more equal than others!
Watching Pingu with Bunny sounds wonderful on a rainy afternoon. It's my favourite cartoon.ReplyDelete
He adores Pingu. I find it a bit too psychedelic.Delete
Pingu is great and my little son , 2 1/2 , loves Caillou, a cute little guy.I try to not involve too much tv or cartoons at that age, but on a rainy day nothing better.ReplyDelete
Pingu sounds like an international favourite.Delete
All lovely, including Pingu.ReplyDelete
I only mentioned Pingu in passing.Delete
See one medieval door you've seen 'em all.ReplyDelete
Sir Roy would have your guts!Delete
Beautiful buildings Cro, as always found in France.ReplyDelete
It's Pingu for our grand daughter but the Lego Movie for our grandson !
Raining cats and dogs here and set for the week …. I think that you've sent it over from France.
Pingu for the rest of the week !! XXXX
It's a bit iffy here too today, but we have guests arriving so fingers are crossed.Delete
I have to google Pingu.ReplyDelete
Idid. we love it here too.ReplyDelete
Viva international Pingu.Delete
So did they have window tax in France too?ReplyDelete
I think they blocked the windows etc here because of extensions, rather than the dreaded taxes.Delete
It is nevr my favourite day Cro - something to do with being retired I think - all days are the same so there is nothing special about Sunday.ReplyDelete
I feel the same; one day is the same as another.Delete
Window taxes? I learn something everyday. What will they come up with next? A bug tax perhaps?ReplyDelete
Sounds like a yawn and stretch and go back to sleep sort of day.ReplyDelete
OMG amazing mushrooms!!!!ReplyDelete
