Like so many English 'toddlers', our three children used these lovely Peter Rabbit and Bunnykins design plates, cups, etc.
Amazingly they managed to survive our lot, but, for fear of losing our treasured souvenirs, we were reluctant to allow our grandsons to use them too.
But, who knows;..... if another grandson should come along who's called 'Bunny', I suppose he'd just HAVE to use them.
Oh, hang on a minute!

I love those plates and cups! Of course Bunny must use them. When will you get to meet the young man? I'm sure you can't wait to get your hands on him!

Beautiful bunny set for kids. I too have one but it is very small.
Still have my daughters' Peter Rabbit bowl and cup tucked away in a cupboard. Maybe one day...
I think we have more somewhere; I just came across these yesterday, and thought how nice they were.
I have my bunnykins bowls and cocoa mug. The bowls are still used but the cocoa mug is too small for my big mouth!
Oh Cro....how are you going to manage to wait that long to meet the new baby? and of course we all have some 'bunnyware' in cupboards...I think using it way back when was in the rules somewhere!
Hoarding sometimes has its advantages.
It's mad isn't it! I think I've become a whole lot less "precious" about things after having two young children in the house (I've had to). But now I'd rather see something used (and potentially broken) than have it sit there collecting dust.
Hmmm; I'm still a little worried about such things. It also explains why I live in such CLUTTER.
I did receive some more photos this morning; he's beautiful. Yes, they were almost obligatory!
Maybe Pascale could be served his gruel in it, when he's been bad.
Hi Cro,Our children have a set each and they have survived and we have now put them up.The funny thing is recently when the family were home we were discussing how Bunnykins have been taken over by another maker,and the old Bunnykins has humping rabbits on the trade mark,the new ones not so crude,lol it was changed by demand I believe,ah the good old days when hardly anyone knew that it was like on the base,until someone objected and now when anyone comes they immediately look at the bottom to see if it is genuine lol
I would call that 'Hugging' rather than 'Humping', but being Rabbits.....
We have a set of the Beatrix potter Peter Rabbit and one of Miss Tiggywinkle! What sweet characters to grow up with...verra appropriate for your Bunny.
Ahh tableware from childhood, I've kept all of the ones my children used. They roll their eyes at me when I point such things out to them!
Our children didn't have them ….. they had the French Breton bowls with their names on and the farmer and his wife in the bottom. Only one has survived, unfortunately.XXXX

I'm just off to start my Elderflower Champagne. Then I've got to find my bottles. If anyone doesn't know how to make Elderflower Champagne (unlikely), just type the words into my little white search strip (top left), and all will be revealed..

I didn't have these. but I have a set of 'The Snowman'. Now I cant get the song out of my head
As I suspected, I would need elderflowers to make elderflower champagne. Not so easy to come across in Australia - at least not in my neck of the woods. Pity, it sounds delicious!
