Cro's been a very naughty boy, and has been caught. The Governor's been round to see me, and asked what I'd like for my FINAL MEAL. I had to think hard, but this is what I eventually requested.
Entrée: Bread (from Freyssinet le G) with a good piquant Paté Basque, hard boiled eggs (my own) with Mayo, and a small mixed salad.
Main course: Confit de Canard, sautéed potatoes with cèpes, and a few squeaky Haricots vert.
Cheese: More bread (from Freyssinet le G), St Agur and mature Cheddar cheese.
Fruit: A perfectly ripe, warm from the tree, Peach.
Wine: Two bottles of Vin de Table from the nice lady at St Martin de Redon.
And lastly, a bag of Maynards Wine gums (just the black and green ones) for when I take that final walk.
