My grandson Harvey J sent this picture over from England for me; it will hang amongst several others by my equally talented other grandsons.
So, what is it? 10 Brownie points for the first correct answer; other assorted points for well-informed guesses.

Multi spotted tortoceros
Nope.
It's not Freddie is it?
Just an ordinary ocelot? A Leopard? My neighbor's cat?
That's 3 guesses; 2 were close!
Nope.
Morning Cro - That's easy - it's a lesser spotted dalmation octopus.
A tortoctosquidragonoise? It's great whatever it is!
it has the look of a lizard, but the air of a cat!
yes I was thinking lizard or newt. We like our quizzes in blogland don't we? :-)
I'm afraid you're all wrong so far... Keep going.
Cheetah?
Well done, 10 points to you, Sue. I think it's an excellent likeness too (not that I've ever seen a Cheetah close up).
I was just about to say 'two-toed sloth' before Sue came up with the right answer, but I can see.
Whatever it is..even I would not adopt it
It was clearly obvious from the spot formation. Couldn't be anything else.
Oh my goodness, it looks like a cross of a Dalmatian with a turtle or a salamander.;) I love the imaginations of kids.;)
But can see it is a cheetah from the few comments above and that kinda makes sense in retrospect.;))
xoxo
I was thinking leapard, ocelot or spotted frog but I see I was on the wrong track.
Darn, I woke up too late to get into this contest and missed out on getting brownie points. I just love brownie points.
There'll be more, Arleen.
Of course it's a Cheetah!!!! Nothing like Grand's artwork.
I think it's one of those amphibian Cheetaoctolizards. Up close.
You would have been 'mentioned in dispatches' Amy.
I, too, woke up too late to hazard a guess. The face looks like a turtle, and i wondered about the long tail. I kept thinking of sea creatures.
I see gift of drawing has been passed along!
Oh dash! I was sure it was an octopus!
Anna :o]
I was going to guess dalmatian...I miss little kid drawings on the fridge...
How funny! Nothing better than our collection of art from our grand babies.
I kept thinking it was a sea creature. hahah
