A diverse offering twixt the interesting, the unusual, and the amusing.
Chewproof....Ha!!!
ReplyDeleteBut will he sleep in it?
ReplyDeleteYou HOPE it's chewproof.
ReplyDeleteOh he's enjoying that basket...I can hear the munch and crunch all the way from Ohio... Happy Easter to you and yours, Cro!
ReplyDeleteI hate to tell you this, but dogs love to chew plastic more than wicker. What you need to get is one of those big dog pillows.
ReplyDeleteOr a muzzle, maybe.
DeleteLet us know. Looks like little faith among the flock.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering about the chewproof, too.
ReplyDeleteOur Old Girl Josy would eat anything that was in front of her mouth when staying in her bed, so it was soon just a blanket in the corner... A few years later we tried again with some really expensive rubber foam dogbed covered with faux leather - and we still have that one, as well as 4 more... Only Josy isn't here any more, but she loved that bed so much that she didn't munch on it :-)
Have a great Easter weekend!
Thanks Tina. I suppose only time will tell about the plastic... but as yet, all is OK (it's only 2 days old).
DeleteJust keep us updated now and then :-)
DeleteHave you tried canvas hammocks for the dogs? In winter these can be strung across the fireplace for warmth.
ReplyDeleteHimself got the cats catbeds for Christmas. Jo used hers for about a week and now considers it a pillow for her head. Phoebe loved hers until we had a week of false spring about 3 weeks ago, when she decided that sleeping immediately next to my head and taking over my pillow by morning was better. sigh.
ReplyDeleteI do hope Monty's new bed works out better.

I found my girlfriend's dog wandering the her house this morning with one of her nice leather boots in his mouth. Thoroughly chewed at that early hour. Tsk Tsk. It's bound to happen. We'll see if the new bed is really chew proof -- is there a money-back guarantee?
ReplyDeleteNot sure anything (but steel) is "chew proof", but good luck, and let us know how it goes.
