With two boisterous and demanding dogs in the house poor Freddie keeps to himself, and therefore tends to get overlooked. So here he is, doing what he (and every other cat) does best.... sleeping somewhere safe.

We had a cat just like Freddie,his name was Chucky..the kids named him that because we saved him and had him for years,Bob would come home every day and say "get rid of that cat! chuck him out!" eventually the kids wore him down so Chucky stayed,we just loved him,he was a good old cat.
So is ours: when we see him!

Well he's adorable, that's for sure. Maybe that old saying about "beauty sleep" is true!
Living with two dogs also, my cat would definitely attest to that. To get attention where it's safe, she comes and lays on my dinner mat, or on my laptop, or on the newspaper...
I have one cat who sleeps 23 hours a day and another who is underfoot and begging for attention much of the time. They are sisters and so different. There are times though that I wish one would be more affectionate and the other would not be so needy -kind of like my kids.
Poor Freddie...starved for love. Couldn't you spare him a little afternoon cuddle just to let him know you appreciate him?
Freddy is very handsome. He's probably dreaming about you saying hi to him this morning.
Freddie looks almost exactly like JoJo, our grey tabby.
Most cats are very affectionate with me, although i've seen households where cats will keep to themselves when there are lots of other animals or a dog or two. It's how we got our first cat; she ran away to our house from next door, because we had no four-footed friends, and she was tired of being one of many.

We often wonder if Freddie won't, one day, do the same.
Our Dot looks a lot like Freddy, only she's a rather hefty gal. Not fat, but BIG. She is currently to the right of me, snoozing on top of my printer, which is much better than where she was a few minutes ago ... standing directly between me and the monitor, swishing her tail in my face.

Freddie is a doll. He looks like my Oscar, who spends a lot of sleeping as well. Finds a quiet bedroom far far from the 3 dogs.
Cats really are so very different from our doggie pals. Like having a middle-aged civilized adult among a gang of 3 year olds!

He is just "being". His ears are on duty all the time by the look of them!!
