Monty biting the hand that feeds him!

I was reminded of this tiny video after I'd given a biscuit to a local dog recently.

It's been over five years since we lost poor Monty. Like all Labs, he had an insatiable appetite, and that included a taste for my hand. We miss him.

  1. Monty probably thought that your fingers were pork sausages. After all, they look like pork sausages.

    With the typical "Seefood" diet!

    1. Labs simply have an amazing appetite. Monty could have continued eating all day long.

  4. I have had a few Lab granddogs and because of their love of food, I know to move my hand quickly when giving them treats.

Our past beloved pets always stay in our hearts.

  5. We call them Larderdoors. Suggest flat of hand sort of like feeding a horse.

  7. Rick loves his treats and food but refuses to eat his breakfast until he has had his morning walk. A dog of routine I guess.

    1. Billy has a hidden clock. At exactly mid-day he waits by his bowl for his lunch.

    1. Our present dog, Billy (Border Collie), isn't that interested in food. He only eats because it keeps him alive.
