A diverse offering twixt the interesting, the unusual, and the amusing.
I want to play the booming drum.
ReplyDeletecheers, parsnip
That's the only bit that was 'in tune'.
DeleteNot sure stunning is the right word. My ears will never be the same.
ReplyDeleteWell I was 'stunned'.
DeleteSeems to be different...
ReplyDeleteDifferent to anything you've heard before?
DeleteElephants trumpeting in tune :)
ReplyDeleteGreetings Maria x
You're being a bit hard on Elephants.
DeleteThis had something to do with Brian Eno.
ReplyDeleteI think that's him in white on extreme right.
DeletePlay it to an audience of elephants and see what happens ;-).
ReplyDeleteThe film version 2001 Space Odyssey (Kubrik) is my favourite.
I wonder why they didn't use this version. It would have had the audience in fits!
DeleteA couple more practice sessions and, by George, I think they’ll have got it !!! ...... maybe ! XXXX
ReplyDeleteI'm sure I heard someone playing a correct note; but maybe not.
DeleteOK my breakfast juice almost didn't stay in my mouth. SO funny.
ReplyDeleteEven the opening notes get me going. It's real laugh-out-loud stuff.
DeleteI am tone deaf... and even this sounded complete crap to me Cro... hahaha..finally I get an A plus.
ReplyDeleteJo in Auckland, NZ
It's obviously your day!
DeleteCould monkeys play this as well????
ReplyDeleteMot to disparage monkeys!
ReplyDeleteThere may well have been a few Monkeys in there. Who knows!
Deletemaybe they were the ones playing the correct notes?
DeleteAnd my fingers must have been tuned to them since I wrote mot instead of not. Monkey business!
DeleteIt used to be one of my favourite pieces. I shall never listen to it with the same attitude again!
ReplyDeleteWe aim to please.
DeleteFirst big belly laugh of the day. Love it! Thanks Cro. And I think someone playing the flute at the very end actually stayed in tune...but hard to tell as my ears were bleeding at that point. X
ReplyDeleteThe end is certainly hard to stomach. Someone sounds desperate!
DeleteThere might have been one or two correct notes but if there were they were certainly in the wrong order.
ReplyDeleteI think you're being kind.
DeleteI think the drummer was the only professional.
