Thanks Cro. - that should brighten most people's Monday morning. Hope that it will cheer Rachel up too - she was in what might be called "a right strop" on her last blog !
ReplyDeleteShe alternates from strop to meditative. I forgive her, as I rather enjoy both sides. It's just that bloody football....
DeleteCoppa doesn't understand me does she Cro.
DeleteAnd I don't understand the 'off-side' rule.
DeleteWho does these days? Lesley

DeleteWe watched Spurs against some northerners last night. Quite fun; 2-2. Spurs woz robbed.
DeleteLeicester were robbed and Leicester is in the Midlands. They make hosiery and crisps.
DeleteCro, you know what you're talking about .... as a longtime Spurs supporter, Spurs WOZ robbed !!!!!
DeleteLoved Spike !! XXXX
Thanks for the smile on a wet Monday morning. Don't remember ever seeing that before!
ReplyDeleteNor me, Frances. That's why I posted it. No doubt there are lots of little gems out there; hidden away.
DeleteThat was fun, Cro. And I apologize for sounding off on your previous post. I should probably reserve such sarcasm for my own blog. Anyway, I am enjoying getting to know your world.
ReplyDeleteI like all comments, Shawn. You Sound-Off as often as you wish.

DeleteThat was very funny, Cro. It is good to start the day off with a laugh.
ReplyDeleteStormy here. Just had very strong wind and hail. Lost power for a while. I need a laugh or two!
DeleteWe had that last night, hail and all. It is finally cold here but the sun is shinning and that is a good thing.
DeleteWe need something to laugh at to take our minds off the grim weather.
ReplyDeleteThank you for that. I love Spike Milligan -- a good tonic for the miserable and depressing weather...
ReplyDeleteCro - I can never get on to your videos, I always end up after a short time on a BT video advert or something.
ReplyDeleteThat's Yorkshire for you!
DeleteI am Irish/French and feel this video portrays my people in a bad light. For one thing, we wouldn't use stairs to go over the pole in the pole-vault. We'd use an elevator. That way we can still read our book without losing our place. Otherwise, I enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteNaughty Mr Milligan.
DeleteOne of the great comedians. But then The Goon Show was one of the most inspired of radio programmes.
