Nothing surprises me any more, even finding both Lady Magnon and Bok fast asleep together on her sofa.
It's a good thing I keep a small camera handy, otherwise I'm certain they'd both flatly deny it!
A diverse offering twixt the interesting, the unusual, and the amusing.
Naps are wonderful things. Even dogs understand this!
ReplyDeleteAnd caught in the act!
DeleteIt is not a crime!!!
ReplyDeleteNo it isn't!
DeleteIf loving naps is wrong, I don't wanna be right! :)
Certainly not; I do it myself.
DeleteThere are times when it all gets too much, and a little nap is just the answer !
ReplyDeleteA post-Lunch power nap!
DeleteIt is a mere reaction to all the "Xmas" hassle....
ReplyDeletekeep Christmas simple...
turkey and stuffing salad sandwich...
bottle of wine...
half a Christmas pud for afters...
another bottle of wine...
open presents...
and another bottle of wine...
watch "Where Eagles Dare"!!
Finish with a whisky, or a whiskey...
or a brandy...
and some fine, home-made mince tarts.
All that's needed is a good log fire to sit in front of for the presents, the movie and the digestif!
Now that sounds like a (hic!) plan !
DeleteThat's just about how it happens here, although I'll swap Where Eagles Dare for A Wonderful Life. Lady M's Mince Pies are to die for!
DeleteI think a bigger sofa is required Cro - they look a little cramped.
ReplyDeleteShe has a two-seater, I have a three-seater. You can probably guess why.
DeleteI do like the way that Bok has got his arm around her. Sleep well both of you.
ReplyDeleteVery cosy!
DeletePoor things. You must have tired them out! I love a little siesta myself. It's one of my weekend treats.
ReplyDeleteIt's one of my DAILY treats; a quick 10 minute power-nap after lunch.
DeleteLady M will be planning her revenge...
ReplyDeleteDon't giver her ideas, she's wicked enough already.
DeleteSo you gave up the chairs on the sofa at nihght and the dog is aloud to sleep on it in day light? mine is atill doing it only at nights and sometimes when she thinks i am not at home.
ReplyDeleteWe still put the chairs on at night, but then she invites him to sit with her during the day... It doesn't make sense.
DeleteErm......it's just a thought Cro - if Lady M. sees this post, will you be out of hospital in time to enjoy Christmas? Can you manage on crutches - the dog walks might be difficult
ReplyDeleteShe's just seen it.... I'm limping a bit.
DeleteAt least you didn't take a picture of her sleeping with her mouth open.
ReplyDeleteI love that Bok seems to be hugging Lady M. That is so sweet.
That's why I took the photo, I thought it was so funny.
DeleteI have never ever taken a nap. I wonder when I will start.
ReplyDeleteIt starts the day you retire.
DeleteIn that case I shall put off retiring as long as possible, probably forever.
DeleteThe great thing about being retired, Rachel, is that you always wonder how on earth you ever got the time to go to work ! It's true - ask anyone, and the little naps creep up on you !
DeleteThanks - my first morning giggle.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Marty.
DeleteBok's love has no bounds.
ReplyDeleteThat image will be with me for a very long time.
Thank you for sharing it with us.
He's a very affectionate boy.
DeleteIf I was Lady M, I'd wallop you !!!!! XXXX
ReplyDeleteShe did have words!
DeleteThere have been quite a few days in the past week when I was longing for a nap...but circumstances did not permit me this recharging.
ReplyDeleteI foresee a nap on Christmas afternoon.
Best wishes.
I love a short nap after lunch; usually just 10 mins, but it does the job.
