I hear that the UK's Daily Express newspaper is holding a petition to enforce an Obama-style deportation programme, to rid the country of its illegal immigrants. It already has a huge amount of signatures. In fact it needs 10,000 signatures in order to force a Government Response, and 100,000 signatures to force a debate in parliament. I have a feeling that they might succeed.
As one might expect, it is difficult to put an exact figure on the amount of illegals there are in the UK, but it is certainly over 1 Million.
We probably do need a serious Obama-style crack-down on such people; as POTUS, he managed to rid the USA of 5.3 Million illegals/criminals. I'm sure that if we applied the same techniques as Obama, we could probably get close to half a Million; it just needs government determination and will-power. The US, Canada, and Australia turn them away at the point of entry; in the UK we send Water Taxis to bring them in.
This invasion HAS to stop. It has become overwhelming.

I keep signing but nothing changes. it's similar to the paedophilia scandal, normal people know it's wrong but politicians having a vested interest refuse to act.
The problem with ignoring the most important issues, is that it leaves the door open to extremists who will promise to act. Le Pen in France is a classic example.
Rupert Lowe has been saying some interesting things this week with the launch of his new Party Restore Britain. And he's been saying what most people are thinking, like how did we even get into this mess today and how to stop the rot.
But some feel Restore Britain will split the Right wing vote.
And I can't help feeling that Rupert Lowe is more genuine and more committed than Nigel Farage.
Some described Lowe's speech this week as Churchillian.
I’m wondering - what is the difference between you, an English man immigrating to France, and a foreigner immigrating to England?
Most immigrants are here legally. Asylum seekers and refugees are also here lawfully.
Lowe has some very sensible policies, and not all about immigrants.
Love how you put it on the Obama era ridding illegals, but you are forgetting Biden was the main culprit with the wide open borders letting every degenerate from all over the world into the US.
The basic difference is that I had extensive paperwork (passport, residency papers, etc), I had bought a house, I had my own money and didn't sponge off the state, I had no criminal convictions of any sort, I had a wife and two children, I entered France legally, and I behaved myself. What more would you like to know?
Some let them in whilst others get rid of them. Here in the UK we're going through a phase of letting anyone in, and pampering them.
What exactly are the politicans vested interested in refusing to act?
If anyone knew that, we'd be in a better position to protest against it. Sadly they keep such details to themselves.
I’d be interested in Adrien’s answer
It's the same with post-Brexit returnees from their French country homes. Round 'em all up - stick 'em on buses - and send em back!
This is the revenge to British colonialism . And may be if you push out all migrants your economy will collapse. Migration exists with the start of humanity and when you define migrants because their skin is not yours I feel pity for you. No human is illegal. You live in a nice little house in a nice little street ,your daily walk with the dog is near your home in a church park, and you go shopping in your car. So honestly where do you meet migrants and criminals ?
I wonder how many of those who are so concerned about this invasion that must be STOPPED voted to leave the EU (I know you didn’t Cro). I guess when they made that cross on their ballot paper to “Get my country back” they had carefully weighed up the consequences of loosing Dublin III knowing the effect that would have. never mind the economic consequences of leaving the single market.
I’ve said it before, they had no idea what they were voting for (no one did as there was no proposed exit strategy). It was a case of national chauvinism, The UK can do without Johnny Foreigner and all those bureaucrats in Brussels with their bendy bananas.
And who, in my opinion, was largely responsible for Brexit? Farage. Look how well it has gone and people are going to vote for him! He is a master in taking a complex problem and giving glib solutions.
I agree. So much brain washing by right wing media. Immigration has always happened throughout history. We as English people have the language and culture we have because of the Normans, Vikings, Romans, etc who came here early on
Yes Anon, they might have entered legally but the daily hordes of boat people are entering illegally with our useless government doing nothing about it.
We are only a small Island and now our infrastructure is buckling under the pressure.
It's also why I have had two 6 hour waits in the Hospital A&E Department in the last 4 weeks. This was unheard of 15 years ago. So I'm not so sure why you fully support what many describe as an invasion.
And yes, even legal immigration into the U.K needs to be reduced.
How can you even compare Cro's annual self financed visits to France with what the boat people are coming here for. And all males with no wives or children. They are opportunists.
It is just possible that those who voted to leave the EU thought that the politicians would have the decency and integrity to actually implement the outcome of that referendum, rather than use every means available to them to frustrated and delay the implement. Like Two Tier Kier, who, let's not forget, tried to get a rerun of the referendum to get the "right" result.
And, in answer to a previous comment in relation to colonialism, these new immigrants are not from any former colony.
I have a feeling that 'Anon' thinks that any old Tom Dick or Mohammed should have the right to be here, illegally or not.
Too many Anonymous comments. Too many pandering to the elitist Globalists. Too many people looking back and not looking forward. They stitched us up with Brexit, false promises which never materialised. Von der whatsit is a Globalist. Flooding Western countries with anyone who turns up without the correct paperwork, is tantamount to an invasion.
“Implement the outcome of the referendum” - they did. The UK left the EU and Dublin III ceased to exist - as for using every means to frustrate please don’t forget it was the Conservative government that “got Brexit done” - not that I am blaming them. If blame is to be apportioned it should be laid at the feet of those who voted for Brexit because they fell for the rhetoric of getting a country back - aka putting two fingers up at Johnny foreigner. Don’t forget it will give the UK the opportunity to do deals with emerging economies such as China and India! Absolute madness.
I presume that both you 'Anons' are the same person. I'm afraid that typically you are missing the point. The UK has always welcomed immigrants who come to work with us and become a part of our diverse society. What we don't welcome are those who come here with criminal intentions and terrorise certain communities. Obama dealt with them in the USA, why can't we here?
When it's cold and miserable, I agree with you!
I believe she now totally regrets her 'open door' policy. These people have a 'nice idea', but forget to think of the consequences.
The reply is me, the original comment is not me. I’m wondering why you assume that a large amount of immigrants are coming here to commit crime? There are no statistics to support this. It is simply right wing propaganda. Which communities are being terrorised by immigrants? I haven’t heard of such a thing happening here
I'm afraid that ignoring what is happening won't solve the problem. There are huge problems almost everywhere.
May I ask you why you left UK if the country was so much better than today to settle with your family in a lost village in the countryside in France. May be you had a good job which allowed you to buy a house and allowed you to make live your family. Probably you could have done the same in UK. It would be interesting to know the reason for this choice. There must be one.

Deejohn the reason that you wait hours in the hospital is because the NHS is underfunded. If mass deportation was introduced in this country, the NHS would crumble as a huge amount of staff are migrants. Unfortunately I imagine you plan to vote for reform, who plan to dismantle the NHS through privatisation.
The “boat people” you refer to have not entered the country illegally. Under UK and international law you are allowed to enter a country to seek asylum. I’m not in favour of letting anyone and everyone in, but you mustn’t believe misinformation.
It's a question of free choice; I chose the South of France, a lovely old farmhouse, a wonderful life-style, and my children all grew-up bilingual. Is that all so very wrong according to wokism?
Of course a free choice, but you could find a beautiful little vllage in UK too. Well having bilingual children is nice, but I suppose they attended only "l'école primaire" . I have friens who got a carte de séjour as residents which was simple to obtain even after Brexit, but may be it is easier now to be in town

Back in 1972 (when I moved) a home anything like the one I bought in France would have cost me a fortune in the UK; and it wouldn't have been anywhere near as nice. It wasn't an easy move!
By implementing the outcome of the referendum I would have expected, at the very least, the following:
- reclaim UK fisheries from EEC/EU exploitation
- reset farming policies to those appropriate to the UK rather than France
- remove whole areas of restrictive rules and regulations affecting all areas of UK business and finance
- implement sensible immigration policies tailored to UK needs and restrictions
None of the three main political parties, all of whom said (albeit with obvious distaste) that they would honour the referendum result, were actually prepared to act on any of the above in the interest of the UK, but instead aimed to subvert any change to facilitate a future rejoin or realignment with the EU. The May and Johnson governments totally failed to rake negotiations over leaving seriously, resulting in the farcical situation of Northern Ireland. A clean break would have been a preferable outcome to the mess that our remain dedicated parliaments have delivered.
Why do you think they're known as 'Illegal Immigrants'? Are you the only person who is right, and the rest of the UK is wrong?
You might have expected that but, as they say, it takes two to tango. Leaving the EU was a terrible decision and has set this country back decades.
Luckily I am old enough and financially secure enough it does affect me too much. I am a dual national so always have a back up.
Never mind let’s all vote for Nigel who is, largely, responsible for this mess.
Actually, it was Heath's bungled joining of the EEC that was the terrible decision - UK prosperity declined relatively over the subsequent years compared to how it had grown previously. And the dirigiste framework of the EEC/EU was never a comfortable fit to the lassie faire traditions of the anglosphere (US, Australia, Canada, New Zealand), exemplified by our common law tradition Vs the Napoleonic code tradition of much of the continent.
They’re (misleadingly) referred to that amongst right wing people, not amongst people who know the facts and have common sense. The fact is it is not illegal to come to the uk to apply for asylum
I have a awful feeling that pm will insist these people invade my privately owned home - by his law - flis x
Well done flis, you get the prize for the most ridiculous comment on this post!
Haha go and consult . The best thing you can do.
Actually, the UN rules on asylum are that the claimant must seek asylum in the first safe country that they enter. Last time I looked, France was considered to be a safe country, so why haven't these individuals claimed asylum there?
By any reasonable observation these are economic migrants attempting to enter the UK through illegal channels, and should therefore be subject to immediate deportation and told to apply to immigrate through legal channels.
And, for your information, the UK NHS is not underfunded, its funding is comparable to other European countries, most (all?) of which have superior outcomes on almost every measure. It is, however, a 60 year out-of-date fossil relic of centralist dogma, and the superior outcomes in other countries are a result of mixed delivery models, not a heavily centralised and micro(mis)managed monstrosity - with staff numbers larger than just about any organisation in the world apart from the Chinese military.
