Muppets - Kermit - Its not easy being green.

Kermit is a hero of mine, and this song is a favourite.

I suppose his 'green' is in fact just 'individuality', and that is something we all possess. We all live our own versions of 'green-ness', and we need to embrace it.

I should add that green is by far my favourite colour, but that's another matter.

With Siân Berry as your MP this song could easily become Brighton's theme tune.

I love Kermit.( yes he is real!) Now I have to look for a video of his little nephew singing " Halfway up the Stairs". Thanks for making me smile on a cloudy dull morning.

We cannot profess to know much, or indeed anything, about Kermit but we have had many encounters with green in our gardening days.

Our garden visitors would often ask..."when is the best time to visit"....to which we would reply "February".....which would illicit the response "is the garden open then"....answer "no". The visitors in question declared that they would return when there was more colour.... to which we would always say "green is a colour". It also happened to be our favourite too.

Hello Hattatts. Gosh, it's been a very long time since I saw your names anywhere. How are you? Are you still here in Brighton? Another lover of 'green' I see. I'm sure it's good for the soul.

I am comfortable being "green" - It's a good feeling to be 66 years of age, with faded looks and blending in with the leaves - I'm happy to
and prefer this - flis x

Good for you. I think we're all 'green' in our own ways.

Hello,
Yes, far too long but we have not been idle and are now living between Budapest for most of the time and Budleigh Salterton in Devon when we find the need to return to the 1950s.
In these ever hotter days and nights, we yearn for the coolness of green shade.

I've not heard this song before, but enjoyed listening to Kermit's "Rainbow Connection".
