Kermit is a hero of mine, and this song is a favourite.
I suppose his 'green' is in fact just 'individuality', and that is something we all possess. We all live our own versions of 'green-ness', and we need to embrace it.
I should add that green is by far my favourite colour, but that's another matter.
With Siân Berry as your MP this song could easily become Brighton's theme tune.

DeleteI love Kermit.( yes he is real!) Now I have to look for a video of his little nephew singing " Halfway up the Stairs". Thanks for making me smile on a cloudy dull morning.

DeleteWe cannot profess to know much, or indeed anything, about Kermit but we have had many encounters with green in our gardening days.
ReplyDeleteOur garden visitors would often ask..."when is the best time to visit"....to which we would reply "February".....which would illicit the response "is the garden open then"....answer "no". The visitors in question declared that they would return when there was more colour.... to which we would always say "green is a colour". It also happened to be our favourite too.
