I doubt we were in the teens when I got up at 6.30 but we are now at the dizzy heights of 11ºC. Of course it's midsummer so what can we expect? 37ºC is okay if I don't have to work and it's not humid and I have aircon at night! Overall I'll live with what I have and just pay the heating bills.
That temperature would finish me off Cro but I could do with a few degrees of it - it poured here all day yesterday (good for the garden) today it is breezy and sunny andnot very warm.
They are all lovely, Cro. I only have one Hibiscus left of the five that I planted years ago. I am OK with that as they grow quite large and lose their flowers constantly. That involves a lot of bending down for me.

Nice flowers. 15 degrees here but it is midwinter. Much prefer that to 37. With the fire lit it is quite pleasant.
And for today they are forecasting 27 C; 10 degrees less than yesterday. It was far too hot.
Beautiful flowers. Are oleanders poisonous? I think I've heard that somewhere.
I believe that every single part of them is dangerous; even smoke from a fire if you try to burn them.
That sounds a bit too warm. But I could cope!
S.H. I have been told that the Fr couple have now left their bakery/cafe in NZ. Good for the area while it lasted.
The heat has made our pool turn green-ish.
Good luck to them. I wonder where they went.
The oleanders give a wonderful burst of colour in this heat. We have, around us, white, pink, red and a very dark almost burgundy.
We have a few but they're mostly different reds. There's a huge white one nearby, but I don't think white suits them as much.
So pretty ... they obviously love that hot weather. I think I’d just live in the pool all day ! XXXX
Our pool has turned a bit green due to the hot weather. We're having to zap it with chemicals to correct it... so no swimming for a day or two.
Gorgeous blooms.
I cannot imagine those temperatures. We are only hovering in the teens here and it is supposed to be summer 🙄

I read the other day that hibiscus is really a tropical plant, yet it grows well here and where you live. I hope you enjoyed a good cooling swim.

Far cooler today, but very humid. Not very pleasant.
It really was unpleasantly hot yesterday. May favourite temperature is around 25 C. One can do things at 25 C.
It's best to stay indoors when it's that hot. It can make you ill.
We call the 'Althéa' here, and they grow very well. When I see new colours I take seeds, but they are often reluctant to come true to the parent colour.
I've actually been raking-up dead flowers this morning. They are everywhere.
