Ship ahoy!

Give a boy a boat, some water, and a vivid imagination, and he'll play for hours.

Here was Ollie fighting off pirates, wrestling with man-eating sharks, and transporting his cargo of gold coins to some Treasure Island.

Even Monty joined in the adventure.

Oh to be a child again.

It's good to see children playing, while using their imagination. With 'technology' as it is nowadays, it's become a rare thing.

The good old days eh?

He and his brother do also have 'tablets', but I know what I'd prefer to see them playing with.

What delightful pictures Cro. They are to treasure.

That boat probably dates back to the days of your youth. No one makes wooden toys these days. Love it. Even the dog seems interested. That photo is just perfect.

Children still enjoy plain old toys when they put their tablets down.

Kids are always happier with the kind of toys that require imagination...not batteries.

What a great thing to do on a lovely summer's day.

Imagination is the key...I fear the younger generations are losing the ability to use it!
Love the pictures. :)
