More Boot Sale Fun.

Yesterday saw our biggest annual 'brocante' (boot sale), at the nearby town of Cazals. We are always on the look-out for nice things for the barn, and these doors looked just the job. When given a waxing they'll be beautiful.

They are solid walnut, probably late 19th C, bucolic Louis XV style, and in pretty good nick.

I'll get our chippie to use them for something.

Nice, eh?

I wonder where the rest of the cupboard went? They will look fantastic waxed up.

There's a little worm damage on one door, so maybe the rest of the cupboard was made of pine; and was entirely eaten. I've already treated the 2 doors.

o you are a boot sale fan too Cro. I must be the only person in the western world who has never been to one.

I have never been to a boot sale either, Weave. However I am an auction room freak.
