The Local Antiques Fair.

This last weekend, our nearest town held its annual Antiques Fair. There are always wonderful things, and always at wonderful prices.

There are bits-n-pieces of all sorts,

some fabulous carpets (I loved this stripy one above),

and all the usual old pots-n-pans.

We didn't buy anything; in fact I didn't really see anything I coveted (other than the carpet).

Give me a good old 'Boot Sale' any day; from those I rarely come home empty-handed!

My thoughts exactly Cro. Do they ever actually manage to sell anything at those inflated prices?

We said exactly the same thing. I'm sure the majority of dealers returned home without a single sale!

Still, I am sure it was worth a poke around if only for a decent stroll!

Oh, the stuff is high priced...
Had not thought of that. I was just thinking those pots and pans looked good.

Dare I admit to never having been to a Boot sale Cro? The trouble is that there is nothing I actually want.

That's never stopped me from buying stuff!!

The only antiques in my house are hubby and I. Every year we get discounted.
