"If you can't behave yourselves, you'll have to be tied to a tree!"
Come off it Cro, we all know that they're the most well behaved children in the world. So why are they tied to this tree?
Well, they wanted to imitate Houdini, and see if they could escape.
They couldn't.... their Papa tied them up much too well (tee hee)!
ReplyDeleteThey don't look as though they are trying very hard to escape.
I think they'd given-up at this point.
DeleteGood game, good game. p.s. no mention of how they liked the tree house!
ReplyDeleteThey love it, Elaine. They've even been 'fighting' over the daily cleaning duties which I offered as a holiday job.
DeleteSusan Heather (Kamo Lady) has just informed me that our cousin Annabel Cattermole, and her friend Bryony Bennett-Lloyd, have just won the Ladies 420 Class World Sailing Championship in Valencia. Well done girls; good to have a world champion in the family!
ReplyDeleteOh no, I fear another investigation by the French Social Services. I can't believe you not only photographed the event, but put it up on the net.
ReplyDeleteSee my upcoming publication 'Bondage for Boys'.
DeleteNice to see old fashioned discipline is alive and well. I favour the dark, spider filled under-stairs cupboard myself.
ReplyDeleteI bet they loved it!
ReplyDeleteSurprised you haven't done that to your building contractors with the addition of introducing them to a length of rubber hose...
ReplyDeleteThere's time.
DeleteThis is so funny. When I was a little girl (yea, these many years ago) my grandpa used to rope us - yes, with a lariat - and hogtie us (like calf roping), then see how long it took for us to get untied. Cowboys have a weird sense of humour, or maybe just grandpa's.
ReplyDeleteWhat in the world had they done??
ReplyDeleteCongrats to your cousin and her friend!
ReplyDeleteYour younger grandson is smiling too broadly to let anyone think for a moment that this is a punishment. Dare i say, he might find this tree-mendous.
Great idea for the next time my own GK's come to visit. I'll tell them it's an old French pastime.

ReplyDeleteBless em! Bet that kept them occupied for a little while at least!
