Great Britain is a strange place to live these days. One might be forgiven for thinking that certain areas of the country have suddenly reverted to the 8th Century Middle East.
Not only do so many newcomers DRESS that way, but they also BEHAVE that way too. In fact, so much so, that the UK GOVERNMENT has now actually issued them with guidelines about how to behave themselves in a modern civilised Western Country.
Many of these people are so set in their primitive religious ways that they have to be told that rape, wife beating, paedophilia, under age marriage, etc, are all unacceptable in a modern society, and could result in a prison sentence. It seems that many are unaware that this is so, and see it as 'normal behaviour'!
The Koran tells its followers that a woman's worth is just a THIRD of a man's; well, they really must stop believing all this nonsense when they come to live in a more civilised country. It is in the mosques where all this rubbish is taught, and it is the duty of their Imams to correct it.
The 9 page booklet covers respect in public, gender equality, sexual behaviour, and many other subjects that all 'westerners' take for granted. WE don't need the government to tell us, and nor should they!
However, there are obviously droves of illegal immigrants who don't understand about civilised behaviour, and this booklet is for them (if, indeed, they can read).

If people are still prepared to believe in gods, devils, angels, ghosts, heaven, hell, and all other non-existing tripe, then they will believe ANYTHING. It's about time that people woke-up, and stopped all this nonsense,
We are often told that it is good to be tolerant and to respect other people's views but when it comes to Muslim treatment of and attitudes towards women I feel outraged. Wearing those hideous veils has nothing to do with modesty and everything to do with oppression and the ludicrousness of medieval religious teachings.
I couldn't agree more. Many countries are now banning the wearing of them in public, and the UK should follow suite. If they want to wear them at home, in private, that's up to them.
All seems rather pointless anyway, just how many of these "culturally enriching" individuals can actually read English??
The only meaningful communication that they receive should be a bayonet forcing them back to where they came from.
Even if they can read English they're not going to wade through 9 pages. They need to be pre-programmed, made to attend lectures, pass a test on British culture........or something. Heaven knows what
If they're in the country illegally, they should be sent back; not asked not to rape people. The UK gets more and more ridiculous by the day.
They should also have to prove that they can pay their own way for at least 2 years, that might stop most of them coming.
