I don't wish to upset anyone, but we've had a crime recently in the UK that is possibly the worst I've ever encountered. Please be warned.
I'm not at all a 'hang 'em high' person, in fact I'm 99% anti-capital-punishment, but just occasionally we come across cases that are so horrendous that, frankly, no other punishment fits the crime. Such criminals should be prepared to sacrifice their own lives.
This case is so awful, that I won't even suggest that you look too much into it; it's too harrowing. However if you do wish to know what I'm talking about just look-up 'Preston Davey' on the net; but BE PREPARED.
The treatment that this poor 13 month old baby boy received at the hands of his newly adopted parents is beyond belief.
In many ways, I wish I'd never heard about this crime, as it REALLY upsets me. I simply cannot believe that fellow humans could be so vile.
Frankly, I think just hanging them would be too kind.
The only solace I have, is knowing that they will have an extremely rough time in prison. I'm sure you know what I mean. Such people are not very popular; they'll be very lucky to get out alive !
All this little boy wanted was to be loved and cared-for; what he got was a bloody MONSTER who abused and eventually killed him. I literally SHUDDER when I think of what the poor child endured.
I just keep thinking of all those people who would have loved to adopt little Preston; including Lady M and myself. Instead he was given to these two scumbags.
If there's a better reason to re-introduce the death sentence; I'd love to know it!

There will be many questions to answer by the local authority and NHS before this is done. I have touched on the case today in my further posting on the Nowak case..
The Adoption Agency must be investigated. Heads must roll. Who on earth thought this was a good placement???
I suspect that no one wanted to look too deeply into the reason for the little boy's prior injuries as they might be labelled homophobic! Hanging is too good for them.....hopefully they will be given what they deserve by other inmates.
One of those horrific cases which is unimaginable. My thoughts are 'get rid of this monster. Remove him not just from society but from this earth'
He's an animal. Sorry, animals are well above this nasty piece of slime.
I'm sure they'll have a very hard time in prison; and well deserved.
Words fail me. Why we would even think of keeping such people alive is a disgrace.
I don't think they will survive prison. It's disturbing that the main culprit was a teacher, Safeguarding Head no less. Poor, innocent little baby.
I wrote about it today to try to get it out of my head, but I cannot stop thinking about the poor little boy.
The very idea of a helpless baby being a sex object is utterly repulsive. Babies need love but definitely not that kind of "love". Were that couple properly vetted? The answer is obviously "No!" Poor little Preston - he deserved a chance to thrive. That's all he was asking for.
It's pure evil. That poor little boy. Words fail me. How many more times must we see this happening!
I hate that such a thing can happen. It really upsets me. Those two bast*rds deserve everything that's coming to them. And I hope the Adoption Agency people are imprisoned too.
Hopefully never! I wonder how many other families were looking for a nice little baby to adopt...... and yet they chose him!
The whole world needs a wake up call regarding Sex Trafficking. It's prolific across the world and in our backyards. Great amounts of money to be made. This is not new but as ancient as time. And now we are learning many of our "leaders" are involved in horrific things. We need William Wilberforces to rise up once again. Good for you for bringing this out in the open to be talked about. It's TIME!
I didn't really want to talk about it, but I'd hoped it would prove cathartic. It hasn't. I couldn't care less what adults get up to, but with a 13 month old baby boy, it is beyond belief. It makes my blood boil.
That's my point. The trafficking is with CHILDREN and the ones doing it are the adults. We have 300,000 children missing that were allowed to cross over our borders. I wonder how many Europe has? I don't read those stories. I can't handle it.
A lot of them go into 'modern slavery', they are made to work all hours, aren't paid, and sleep in garden sheds. And we all know who are keeping these slaves. Very rarely are they caught because the slaves themselves are well hidden.
