Fun at the expense of.......

I've always liked political cartoons; of ALL political persuasions.

I thought this one (below) was particularly good. It was originally entitled 'Wally and Vomit', but is, of course, of our fragrant Prime Minister Keir Starmer and his deputy PM David Lammy. Superb.

If you are English, or know anything about English politics, you will appreciate what a wonderful portrayal it is.

It has nothing to do with their politics, or even their party allegiances, it is simply a superb bit of comedy, in the tradition of Gillray, Rowlandson, or even Ronald Searle.

Every time I look at it, it makes me laugh (with apologies to anyone who voted for them).

Political cartoons recently have been very clever.
There's lots of material for satire just now

Haha! I don't know how they get them to look so realistic, if they were in a criminal line-up you'd know them straight away!

This one makes me smile every time I see it; not many do that.

They really are superb. And I think that's a portrait of Mrs T; top right.

I accept your apology. Nice to see that under Sir Keir's leadership there has been a huge drop in immigration figures and the economy has received a healthy boost. He and his capable team are steering the ship of government through treacherous waters that militate against success - including two wars, an oil crisis, the Brexit legacy and the continuous carping of right wing doom-mongers like "The Daily Mail" and your good self.

Yes, it's almost a shame that he's about to be booted out. How could they all be so cruel?

It's a shame that you deleted the previous post. Giving in the the lazy left will have it's consequences further down the line. Laughing at those who make a complete hash of running our country deserve to be put down.

I didn't really delete it. I was looking for a different video to replace the first one. It'll go back again. People in the UK pretend that such things don't exist. It's important that we ALL know that they do.

I understand. Sometimes something pops up and my screen and I think, that's the one. I might publish it immediately if I am feeling brave enough, or sometimes I store it in drafts, for possible future use. I see some horrific things that people do to each other, and think that it's maybe a step too far. How will others react to it. Sometimes I will exercise caution, or I might press that orange button. YES, information should always be freely available.
