Three OAP's sing The Beatles.

It doesn't really matter how old you are; if it's a good song, you can sing in tune, and play the right notes, then there's nothing to stop you.

This little trio do a great job. They are called 'Folkadelic' and the song 'This Boy' was written by John Lennon.

As an ex-Bass player myself (very briefly), I would loved to have played this; that bass-line is superb!

  1. Since when does age stop us from enjoying life?

    OAPs? Horrible term.

Mick Jagger who will be 82 on 26 July and Keith Richards (81) are still on stage. Many many many others. Even Ozzy Osbourne (76), Black Sabbath, delivered only about a week or so ago - albeit, considering his various health issues, seated.

    1. I was going to call them 'Old Codgers' but thought OAP's was kinder. Nice song, and well sung!

    3. "Old Codgers" is great.

Yes, it is a nice and well sung song; like a lot of folklore a little melancholy inducing.

  2. Brilliant! Thanks for sharing this Cro. They harmonised so well - probably better than The Beatles themselves!

    1. I'm a singer. Ever since I was little I've wandered around singing to myself. I still do!
