Gin Club

Lady Magnon is a sociable, and gregarious, person. There is nothing she enjoys more than nattering with friends, and making new acquaintances.

As soon as we returned to England last September she immediately took-up her rightful place amongst the other 'Friday Night Club' members who live hereabouts (she was a founding member).

They are all women, and they gather in the house of one member or another, usually on Friday nights. They collectively put the world to rights, and no doubt moan about the men who share their lives (ahem). They also partake of their favourite tipples; I'm sure you get the picture.

These three above are NOT actually members, I believe they are Keith Richards' three younger sisters.

The FNC soon became known as 'The Gin Club'; need I explain why! We menfolk just despair and head for the pub' where we discuss knitting patterns, and admire photographs of Poodles and Yorkies.

  4. Sadly, we'd never be driven in an open-top Ferrari by these young things.... they are unreal, false, artificially created.... AI slips up when it comes to hands... and a thumb and five fingers... or elongated fingers, are a dead giveaway.
But, there will be wonderful ladies who got tattoos in the 1970s, look just like this and are decaying disgracefully.... but would be smiling!! And own something fast and collectible.
I knew one in the 1990s in Swaffham... a real Hells Granny... never knew whether she was tatooed or not, she always wore her leathers in all weathers because "I can't kick the cold in my bones out!"
She had been parachuted into France during the war, special opps she called it... and spoke to local WIs and historical societies about "my little adventures"
She rode a '50s BMW for most of the time I knew her and bemoaned the fact that she had to get a more modern one with an electric starter... arthritis in her knee was to blame.
She pulled into the place where most bikers used to park, by the Peddlar town sign, on one occasion... there were some tourers on Goldwings in the parking area getting ready to go.... when she took her helmet off and shook her white hair down, they cheered and gave her a round of applause!! [Most of them weren't much younger than her, either]
Her other string to her bow was she tuned racing bike wheels... one of a handful of people in the UK who did it... "keeps my mind active and pays me beer money"....
sorry, Cro... your post stimulated me to write a blog post comment!!

    1. Are those little darlings really AI enhanced? It hadn't crossed my mind. I have known one or two outrageous ladies, who've been enormous fun. There should be more of them!

    2. Sadly these ones are, just look at the "starnge" hands.... and also, they are glum!!
Women with that many tattoos would never be glum... no matter what's happening to their bodies, they are still twenty-one inside!!
And, they aren't AI enhanced.... they are AI creations, hence the problems with the number and shapes of the fingers.
Whatever the one on the left is holding, she has five left fingers and two left wrists.... one of the others [middle I think] has four fingers, but has had the fifth amputated and added to the little finger!
It really is where AI hasn't got it's act together.....

  5. "The Friday Night Club" sounds terrific. Rejoining the club as a founding member must have pleased LM greatly. Is this a Brighton only club?
