Dog Gastronomy.

As a dog owner myself, I can confirm that dog nutrition is always uppermost in our minds.

Sir Woofchester's is a specialist dog luxury food purveyor. Based in Barrow-in-Furness (up north), they prepare and sell dog meals for special occasions, such as Christmas, Sunday lunches, and even Friday's Fish-n-Chips.

I do hope you can read the menu.

I don't think we'll be deserting our home-delivered Royal Canin in exchange for Sir Woofchester just yet, as it all looks a tad expensive. But it's good to know that they're there for a special occasion.

In fact next Friday I might even order the Sprats, chips, and peas for myself. It sounds excellent.

  1. I like the sound of none alcohol beer for dogs. haha. Cheaper than a pint at your " local". People will always spend money on their dogs, cos they love them. ❤️

    1. I wonder how many regular clients they have? Maybe a few in Mayfair Chelsea and Kensington, but not many elsewhere!

  4. To enlarge menu - right hand button on mouse - then click "Open in new tab". Chicken flavoured beer sounds - err - interesting!

    1. (Bark Brew) Chicken flavoured beer might appeal to dogs, but not to me either.

  5. I dare not show that to Rick! He's just had a six month supply of Kong biscuits delivered this morning by a very brave post lady.

    1. I've known some very 'picky' dogs; one I knew would only be fed by hand!!!

  7. Whatever next? In these days of austerity I would imagine that these will only appeal to those with a bottomless purse.
My dog is very picky about her food and would probably turn her nose up after a mouthful or two. Royal Canin and Purina have always been a safe bet for my dogs.

    1. There is so much money about these days that there is no limit to the spending on luxuries for little 'koochy-koo'. Billy is not so pampered.

  8. Our dogs are well cared for. Their meals are important and there has been some data on the lack of quality in many dog food products. I admit to cooking for my dog.. Scrambled eggs with some cheese and toast for breakfast, roast beef, chicken or salmon for dinner. He's 8 years old and very healthy.

    1. Billy has good quality 'croquettes' twice a day. He thrives on it.

  10. You could take Billy for his birthday, make it a once a year treat/tradition.

    1. I honestly don't think he'd like it. He's been brought up on 'croquettes', and wet food doesn't suit him.
