A diverse offering twixt the interesting, the unusual, and the amusing.
It's good to be up at dawn
Have fun.
It must be wonderful to simply walk back into your old familiar life especially when you find such an abundance of nature's best. Have you stocked up on the red wine?
Ah, welcome home.
Glad you made it safely. Now you know you're home - an abundance of Girolles to welcome you.
Bet it’s nice to be back xx
I hope you have a wonderful summer, Cro.
Billy likes his early run. He came with me mushrooming.
We plan to....
I'm just back from the supermarket, so yes!
Thank you, it feels wonderful. Hot too.
I was quite surprised to see them, no-one had been before me, they were everywhere.
It's lovely.
It's looking good, lots of guests coming.
It's grand to have space - the soul expands.
Glad you made it without a hitch. Have a lovely summer.
Good to hear you're 'home' safe!Hoping you have a truly wonderful summer, with lots of family visits and as much peace and quiet as you want! X
It also needs a lot of upkeep; we've enough for a few weeks.
The 'new' car was very nice. It makes a lot of difference.
That's what we're hoping for too.
I can hear your hearts singing from here!
Welcome home
We're very tired, but happy. Lots of work to do, but all outdoors. Lovely.
Look at all those mushrooms... You hit the mushroom lottery. Your early morning walk sounds lovely.
Roll on, summer! I can feel that happiness all the way over here!
I hope the drive down was carefree. Did you stop overnight somewhere?
It was, and Billy was really excited to re-trace his old steps again. The Girolles were a bonus.
It's palpable here too.
Yes, the drive down was very pleasant. The new Compact Royce performed perfectly, and was extremely comfortable. We stayed overnight at the Ibis (the better one) in Orléans, and were home by 3 pm the following afternoon. I did a bit of mowing, etc, before cracking open a nice bottle of rouge at about 5 pm.
