Ever since Victorian times young women have slowly but surely reduced the amount of clothes they wear in public. One presumes they like to be seen as 'desirable' more than anything else. It used to be called 'Women's Liberation'; and they're beginning to burn their bras in no uncertain terms.
So, now that we've come so far, why not go the whole hog, and give our young women the freedom they are ever edging towards; to walk around totally naked. They're very nearly there anyway, and it's becoming fashionable! (see below)
There are two main advantages to this idea. The first is that, if they're all stark naked, female public nudity will no longer be of any interest to the cheap press; and we'll no longer have headlines such as 'X or Y showing her ample assets', etc. I can't think of the second advantage.
So, come on girls. Throw your caution to the winds, and your bras and panties on the fire. You know you want to!

well at least it would get rid of that item of torture...the bra. Got rid of mine years ago. ( didn't really need one anyway, haha.) As long as you don't wear anything see through its much more comtortable.
It's too flippin' cold for one thing...you see it around here, people out in their shorts and t-shirts (or less) when me and my hubby are still in winter coats and gloves!
There is one particular person in the USA who is leading the trend. Every time I see her photo she is 'almost' naked. I don't know her name.
I don't wish to sound like an old prude, but a little decency would be welcomed.
It's stupid, we always believed cover up enough, to leave something to the imagination, when we were young. I don't even like to see the stunning women with beautiful bodies undressed in public, can you imagine if the trend comes down to real women, who rightly love their curves.........
All are exhibitionists.... low self esteem, need to reinforce the knowledge they're in the pubic eye... sorry, misspelt that, needs an "L"...

Perhaps the number of trees saved as the publications go online to stay alive!!

I think the American woman who's leading the trend is being used as a publicity stooge. I expect she'll regret it in the end.

Nudity sells. Titillating viewers is the name of the game. Something for everyone?
I think it all comes down to commerce. The worst offender will no doubt make lots of money from interviews, TV appearances, and maybe even porn films. She's doing her best (or is being made to do her best).
We all like beauty, sexiness, etc, but this sort of 'almost nudity' is very unattractive.
Indeed, real sexiness needs the engaging of the imagination through wearing appropriate clothing. Nudity is not sexy, just look at nudist camps.
We are having a warm spell of weather. At 91 I am enjoying the sun, sitting out for a while but wearing bra, pants, trousers, roll neck pure wool sweater and over it a snazzy Seasalt sweater and I am still chilly. At 91 my *sitting/standing/posing in the 'altogether' with an electric fire near enough to take the chill off "days are over. If anyone is inteerested - my 91 year old body has "gone South" as they say and best left to the imagination.

Plenty of sun here too recently, and I did actually see one girl 'topless' in the churchyard. She WAS being reasonably discreet.
The whole thing speaks of desperation on the part of these women who want to be in the public eye and have nothing else to offer. For a while it may take off as a fashion amongst the sad cases who follow every fashion whim, but like the last time women burned their bras, it should mercifully be short lived. It's doubtful these women will be parading around nude by the time they hit 40 and everything starts to sag!
Good for an all-over tan in Summer, but not much else. It seems that decency along with common-sense has gone straight out of the window!
