Which nation hands out medals like confetti? Yes, of course, it's North Korea; Fat Boy's kingdom!
Those snazzy badly tailored suits, oversized hats, and a kilo or two of brass, makes the North Korean military big-wigs winner of this year's 'Most decorated henchmen' award.
Well done boys; just watch your backs (and your fronts, and your sides; in fact anywhere you haven't got medals)!

I think that is the annual bottle top collectors convention.
I suspect that's what they really are; bottle tops!

I think they miss a couple of good meals a day.

Went to Korea a few times and the Korean people are wonderful,warm and compassionate. Our guide took us to the DMZ where he looked North and sobbed knowing he would probably never see his relatives again in his lifetime. He couldn't even write to them since the communists would backmail him for money if they found out. So sad for a people that long for ancestry and family.
Imagine being a medal collector in North Korea. What is a medal collector called? Hmmm.
In their society, they do not look silly at all.
There was a time when fat people were considered desirable. Similarly pale white skin too was in vogue. But today it is all about being skinny and tanned.
It's a very sad situation. No doubt at some time in the future things will change and the two countries will re-unite. I hope so anyway.
I think it's called 'A North Korean Army Officer'.
