I am well aware that photos of sunrises and sunsets are the fodder of naff camera clubs, but occasionally I look out due East from the studio, and am amazed by the early morning sky. This one yesterday was almost ablaze, and over in the West it was totally pink.
Well done Mother Nature; behold your works are good!

You will of course be posting it on Facebook and Twitter too.
Facebook possibly.... I don't tweet.
Good shot. Colors attracts me...
Half term.
I love a good sunrise or sunset photo!
Amazing colours.
Who cares about naff camera club photos - it's beautiful.
I need a decent camera.
Me too, Jennifer.
They really were.... no trickery.
There's just been another amazing one this morning, but not quite so spectacular.
It is amazing.
Beautiful, and a bit scary! I am about to be blinded by the sun…..at this time of year it comes in the velux window at this time and shines straight at me over the computer! ( I have to hold a table mat up to be able to carry on. )
Stunning!
Rachel was right.
The day you can't be moved by the beauty of a sunset is the day you want to be worried about. Beautiful shot.
Arilx
It certainly was.
I have exactly the same problem in the studio. I look due East when at my computer, and the sun is blinding; I have a large piece of cardboard!
Yup.
About half term?
A good sunrise is one of my great pleasures; I never cease to be amazed by the beauty of it all.
I don't care what Rachel says. I like it. There again, I am never bored with other people's holiday snaps - it's a minor perversion of mine.
I'm usually still in the land of nod when the sun comes up, so thank you for capturing this beautiful spectacle.
If it was printed 6ft by 8ft, it would be ART.
I quit my bed at 5.30am, year in, year out. A creature of habit.
The old girl puts on a good show.
Worldly beauty gets pretty impressive when it's other'worldly!
my dear OH uses an open umbrella. He isn't superstitious at all!

That is some sunrise Cro. I would never tire of seeing photos like that. I try to do that with my camera but it never gets the strong colour. I know it is my fault but I have stopped trying. So I need yours even more.
Amazingly mine is a very cheap Fujifilm camera, often such pictures don't work, but occasionally....
