Honours come in many forms. I've had countries named after me (Cro-atia), plants named after me (Cro-cus), and even a garden game named after me (Cro-quet). But of all these honours, the greatest must be the naming of a soap (Cro-bar).
As for the ingredients, this superb soap (created by Maitre Savoneur Donna O'Shaughnessy of Chatsworth Ilinois USA) has them in abundance; Coconut, Almond, Clove, Guinness, and Cedarwood. What a fabulous aroma! What a fabulous soap!
Donna not only makes wonderful soap, she is also a hard working organic farmer and spokesperson the USA's 'Raw Milk' campaign.
See her blog here, or contact Donna direct at opies99@gmail.com.
Meanwhile, Lady Magnon has given up her daily bath in Asses Milk in exchange for Donna's hauntingly aromatic Olive, Coconut, and Almond oil, soap. Its scent of Peppermint is absolutely delicious. She's already hooked.
Go on; buy now to avoid disappointment!
Ah Mr and Mrs Magnon you are too kind ! And you are now awarded the most prestigious job of being my farm agent. There is no salary, no uniform, no benefits just my undying respect.(and free bacon) Who would need more? Seriously. ENJOY the bubbly!
ReplyDeletefree bacon?!
DeleteWhat a wonderful gift...is it also good for Cro-wsfeet?
ReplyDeleteThe type one might see on an old Cro-ne, you mean?
DeleteOy! Less of the old!
DeleteI hope you don't think I was referring to you. I can't think of a less Cro-ne like person!
DeleteThats quite an honour I suppose. Congrats.
ReplyDeleteI do not know anyone from Cro-atia, but I might start having a liking for that country now :-)
An honour indeed.

Did you call your tree-house 'Cro's nest', or have I just made that up?
ReplyDeleteThe top part is called the Cro's nest. Well, it had to be; n'est pas?
DeleteA great honour indeed! Oh, don't forget the currency.....Kro-ner. They did spell it incorrectly though.
ReplyDeleteWhat an honour, to have a soap named after you, and one with two of my favourite things: Guinness and chocolate!
ReplyDeleteThanks for directing me to her blog a while back, btw. I'm learning lots for my own soapmaking!
Immortalized in soap; your mother would be proud.
ReplyDeleteAnd shocked!
DeleteWe, your Cro-nies, wish to congratulate you on your recognition!! I think i'ts simply wonderful that someone honored you with a hand crafted soap!
ReplyDeleteCheers!
I've been here at the hospital with my husband since April 24 (complications after bypass surgery). Today's post gave me some much-needed smiles, and groans.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes to you both. I hope things go better very soon.
DeleteI love homemade soap. It is so creamy and lathers nicely, and I am told it smells wonderful! Wish I could smell it.
ReplyDeleteI love handmade soaps--having one named for me would indeed be something to Cro-w about.
