It’s stormy .
I took the Welsh to the beach and we hugged the Promenade wall to keep out
of the wind.
I’ve made a fish pie and the fire is lit.

HaHa! Funny!
ReplyDeleteShould I try it?
DeleteNot sure if the cat would ever forgive anyone !
ReplyDeletecheers, parsnip
We'll have to see, won't we!
DeleteYou try that, you're dead! You'll never sleep easy again!!
ReplyDeleteSpoil-sport.
DeleteActually I meant the cat will get you .. sooner or later. Albert will be prowling, waiting his chance for revenge!
DeleteHopefully he won't blame poor old Bok
DeleteOOOps Albert belongs to another blog. I meant Freddie.
DeleteI know what you meant. He's pestering me for his lunch at the moment, and it's only 9.45am. Plenty of time for a wash!
DeleteI like that it is signed The Dog.
ReplyDeleteI laugh every time I read it.
DeleteThat is so funny!
ReplyDeleteNow I'd love to see what the cat suggests for the dog...
Greetings Maria x
One can but imagine!
DeleteI wouldn't do that. A bee stung Prince Harry on his neck as he was lauding Charles for protecting endangered species. A reminder that the endangered bee moves in mysterious ways. And cats do too. You have been warned.
ReplyDeleteLast year I was stung by a Bee that I was rescuing from the pool. The ungrateful bast*rd.
DeleteHow did you find this? did you google "how to wash a cat"?
ReplyDeleteI've had it around for a long time; I don't remember how I first found it.
DeleteI’m ringing the RSPCA !!!!🤣🐈🙀 XXXX
ReplyDeleteMe too!
DeleteA written version of the far side
ReplyDeleteThe far side?
DeleteGary Larson cartoons. Very funny!
DeleteOf course; silly me.
DeleteDon't try this with kittens. You will send them off to the seaside.
ReplyDeleteAlong with the goldfish?
DeleteThe late and perhaps gay Doctor Hugh Wirth demonstrated at Midsumma, a gay and lesbian festival in Melbourne, how to wash a cat. His method was a little more gentle, but not too much more.
ReplyDeleteDid it involve a twin-tub, with tumble dryer; another favourite method.
DeleteI remember Valerie Singleton washing Jason, the Blue Peter cat, in a bowl of water, on live tv in the late 1960s. The cat went mad, scratched her, made lots of noise and jumped out of the water and escaped in the studio. It was a Siamese. I remember thinking how stupid to try and wash a cat. Val never did the demonstration again.
DeleteThose were the days! They did crazy things almost every week. I haven't seen the programme for years.
DeleteObviously The Dog had never tried that, Cat revenge is swift and very unpleasant.
ReplyDeleteI suspect the Dog would be well hidden.
DeleteThank you very much! Didn't know how much I needed that laugh!
ReplyDeleteNow go and try it on the Cat.
DeleteI am sure Bok would never do that to Freddie.
ReplyDeleteThey are actually quite good friends.
