    1. Actually I meant the cat will get you .. sooner or later. Albert will be prowling, waiting his chance for revenge!

    4. I know what you meant. He's pestering me for his lunch at the moment, and it's only 9.45am. Plenty of time for a wash!

Now I'd love to see what the cat suggests for the dog...

  6. I wouldn't do that. A bee stung Prince Harry on his neck as he was lauding Charles for protecting endangered species. A reminder that the endangered bee moves in mysterious ways. And cats do too. You have been warned.

  10. Don't try this with kittens. You will send them off to the seaside.

  11. The late and perhaps gay Doctor Hugh Wirth demonstrated at Midsumma, a gay and lesbian festival in Melbourne, how to wash a cat. His method was a little more gentle, but not too much more.

    1. Did it involve a twin-tub, with tumble dryer; another favourite method.

    2. I remember Valerie Singleton washing Jason, the Blue Peter cat, in a bowl of water, on live tv in the late 1960s. The cat went mad, scratched her, made lots of noise and jumped out of the water and escaped in the studio. It was a Siamese. I remember thinking how stupid to try and wash a cat. Val never did the demonstration again.

  12. Obviously The Dog had never tried that, Cat revenge is swift and very unpleasant.
