My son Wills likes seriously good guitars. He has several, but this one must be his best. It's his latest acquisition.
It's an Ibanez JEM 77FP Steve Vai "Floral Pattern". The design being based on some curtains in Steve Vai's parents home.
The guitar was imported by Wills from the US.
It almost makes me want to start playing again. Where's my Bert Wheedon 'play-in-a-day' book?
Beautiful instrument!
My brother had that book.
ReplyDeleteWe all did... and it worked!
DeleteI've a son who's a guitarist and one who's a drummer. Suffice to say we were the scourge of our road whilst they lived at home and practised!
ReplyDeleteNoise is the only problem. Wills talks of putting a sound insulated music room into his house. We'll see!
DeleteThey were good curtains I reckon.
ReplyDeleteGood curtains makes for good guitars.
DeleteI don't know much about guitars but did buy two of my grandchildren their first real ones (with the help of a good, knowledgeable salesman). While they have moved on to better intuments, I feel I helped instill their love of making music. It sounds like you did the same for your son.
ReplyDeleteThere has always been plenty of music in the house. Some have appreciated it more than others!
DeleteI'm a music illiterate, I've never learnt to play a musical instrument.
ReplyDeleteGreetings Maria x
I played guitar (6 chords), trumpet, and trombone.
DeleteVery pretty. I've thought often of buying one. Haven't yet made the jump.
