Grumpy. How old are you Bunny?
Bunny. I'm this much.
Grumpy. No you're not.
Bunny. How old am I then?
Grumpy. You're TWO.
Bunny. Is it my birthday today?
Grumpy. Yes, happy birthday darling!
A diverse offering twixt the interesting, the unusual, and the amusing.
One of my earliest memories is being woken up by Mum and being told it was my birthday. I was two or three. I forgot the day a couple of years ago until 9 in the morning. I think that my excitement levels for the event may have changed!
ReplyDeleteMine too, but I expect Bunny's had a wonderful day.
DeleteCute chappie.
ReplyDeleteHe's a lovely little boy.
DeleteHappy birthday Bunny from Rachel.
ReplyDeleteI'll pass it on.
DeleteHappy Birthday Bunny- is that the 19th or 20th?
ReplyDelete20th.
DeleteHappy birthday Bunny. He is a lovely child. Today for you Cro but nearly yesterday for them in Australia, right?
ReplyDeleteGreetings Maria x
Yes, I'm a bit late, but the sentiment is the same.
DeleteHappy Birthday Bunny.
ReplyDeleteIt will have been, I'm sure!
DeleteSuch a happy smiling face..happy birthday to the boy.
ReplyDeleteNice little chap.
DeleteBless him...am loving the bling! Brings back happy memories of my son at that age festooned in my Mum's scarves and necklaces!
ReplyDeleteArilx
They are staying in Surfer's Paradise, Oz. A well known haunt of those who wear beads, kaftans, and flowers in their hair.
DeleteHappy birthday to Bunny from here.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Yael.
DeleteDelightful photograph. In no time at all he will be showing it to girl friends. At least he has clothes on though. Happy day Bunny.
ReplyDeleteBearing flesh in Oz is almost a sin; they are so afraid of skin cancer that everyone covers up fanatically.
DeleteTwo? Seriously? Where did the time go! Happy birthday, cute-as-a-button Bunny.
ReplyDeleteI'll be in Surfers next week for a much anticipated break.
If you see a wee boy who looks a bit like the above; say 'Hi' for me!
DeleteI'll be on a mission. I'll say 'hi' from Grumpy to every cute little button in sight. Will you vouch for me if I'm arrested?
DeleteNo problem!
DeleteI think he was worried about giving you a Vees-Up.
ReplyDeleteOr demonstrating that he's Number One.
DeleteLovely photo. You must miss him a lot.
ReplyDeleteHe'll be back in July (I think).
DeletePrecious times with these little ones. "Happy Birthday" to Bunny from Canada. Deb
ReplyDeleteThank you, Deb.
DeleteAren't grandchildren the absolute best? I'm glad you'll get to have them around this summer.
ReplyDeleteWe just wish they were all here now too.
DeleteHe is a beautiful boy, Cro.
ReplyDeleteNot the best picture of him, but he is lovely.
DeleteHe is beautiful! Love your name.."Grumpy" did you choose it or did the grandkids? My grandkids named me "Black Grandma" because their other grandma is blond and my hair is dark! It stuck!
ReplyDeleteLady Magnon's name is Grumsy, which started as Mumsy for our children, then Grumsy for the grands. I expect it was her who decided on Grumpy for me.
DeleteAww!! He's precious. Happy Birthday dear Bunny!!
ReplyDelete(I cannot BELIEVE he's two already. How time flies!)
Yes, talking, running about, teeth, hair, mischief; he's changed a lot.
DeleteI wish a very Happy Birthday to adorable Bunny, who certainly makes every day sunny. Won't it be fun for you to encourage his mischief when July arrives!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes.
I look forward to getting him into trouble, then claiming innocence. All grandfather's are innocent.
DeleteThat's the stuff!
DeleteLast year I told our then three year old granddaughter that I was sad that my baby granddaughter was growing up and couldn't she stay three for Poppi? While attending her older sisters birthday party my father asked little Lucy how old she was and she told him four but don't tell Poppi. I bet Bunny loves his Grumpy.
ReplyDeleteI certainly love my Bunny... Otherwise, he hasn't mentioned his side yet.
DeleteHappy birthday Bunny! Can't believe how quickly time passes.
ReplyDeleteIt sure does. He'll be going out with girls soon.
DeleteHappy and handsome little boy.
