I just know that you'll all be going to The Commonwealth Games on the Aussie Gold Coast in April 2018, and you'll be looking for a nice apartment. Rentals will be as scarce as hens' teeth, so best to book well in advance (now).
This sort of thing looks good. Very comfortable, all mod-cons, security, pleasant pool, and just a three minute walk from Broadbeach's fabulous beach.
Perfect for the upcoming Games, visiting Surfer's Paradise, or even for wearing your flares at Byron Bay.

It was interesting as, when I searched, I must have missed the last number and got an apartment in Amman for $46.00 a night. I presume the one in Oz is a family apartment so no fee for an aunty !!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's all right, I am only joking - I don't even have a passport.
ReplyDeleteTenpin is going!
DeleteI knew she was going down but thought it was to visit them.
DeleteThey live very nearby!
DeleteIs this your son's flat ?
ReplyDeleteNot where he lives, but he does own this one too.
DeleteI had forgotten about the commonwealth games. Haven't heard anything about them for the last forty years.
ReplyDeleteLove the pool
They certainly don't get the coverage of the Olympics.
DeleteI remember the Games when they were held in a cold, wet Manchester some years ago.
ReplyDeleteNext year's should be better. April in that part of Oz is usually warm.
DeleteThe apartment is nice,Ikea furnitures.
ReplyDeleteEverything is brand new. The kitchen, bathroom, furniture, tiling, etc. He's done a good job. The first tenants arrived last Friday; about 10 minutes after he'd finished all the work!
DeleteA beautiful apartment.
DeleteDo I smell a whiff of nepotism? But why not on your own blog. Some may be horrified by what they imagine the Gold Coast to be, but I was surprised to find I really quite liked it.
ReplyDeleteI've not been there, but from what I hear it's a very pleasant area; very chic, in fact.
DeleteLooks fabulous.
ReplyDeleteIt almost tempts me!
DeleteLove the flat - hate the thought of the journey there.
ReplyDeleteThat's why I don't go. I've managed about 6 hours to the US, but any more than that; no thank you.
DeleteTsk...break up the trip and stay over somewhere exotic for a day or two. I don't do long haul flights anymore
DeletePersuade your son to buy an apartment on Sydney Harbour. It's stunning..you wont be disappointed.
It's doable weave, as long as there are no babies on the plane
ReplyDeleteOr mad people, or drunks, or people who won't eat nuts!
