What a cutie. They grow so fast don't they? My pup is 6 and a half months now, and nearly full grown. It seems only yesterday he was a little fella! The teenager he now is has forgotten all his training ( or he has gone selectively deaf)
We become fools about our dogs don;t we Cro? I am just the same with Tess and I was with Oscar before her and Algy before that. Sometimes I think they are far more deserving of our love that a lot of humans I could name. Happy New Year to you all - dogs included.
A handsome fellow! And now that you are 3, all grown up? Ive had a few labradors and they all took at least two to three years to leave their puppy antics behind them!

Optimistic Cro!
The difference between an optimist and a pessimist, is that the optimist enjoys himself whilst waiting for the inevitable! I AM that optimist!
This is a daily, optimistic, 'photos and comments' blog. I make no judgements (only occasionally), just notes. If you wish to comment in any way at all, please feel free. Everything and everyone (except the obdurate and dictatorial) is very welcome.
I was born just south of London, but for the past 50 years I've lived in S W France. I am a painter by profession, and writer by desire. Lady Magnon and I live between an ancient cottage in a tiny village in perfectly tranquil French countryside, and a bijou townhouse in Brighton UK. In France we have plenty of fruit trees, all situated amongst a view that takes the breath away, in the UK we have a handkerchief sized patio. We also have a Border Collie called Billy. I try to treat our planet with respect, and encourage others to do likewise (without preaching).
Contentment is a glass of red, a plate of charcuterie, and a slice of good country bread. Perfect!
Handsome dog. Happy birthday Monty - hope you get lots of treats and walkies today (and maybe get to sit on the sofa).
ReplyDeleteIt's raining here Sue (pouring earlier), so maybe limited walkies. Otherwise, spoilt as usual.
DeleteHappy Birthday Monty!

ReplyDeleteThe latter, I'm sure. I always check Monty's hearing by shouting the word 'LUNCH'.
DeleteWhat a big handsome lad!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday lovely boy, don't eat too many candles xx
ReplyDeleteLove the candles, wondered what the food was and then the penny dropped.
ReplyDeleteHow quickly the years go by, our lot are 6 next year.

Happy birthday to Monty! He looks adorable and love that he has got candles in his food. :)
ReplyDeleteThe kids grow up so fast, don't they. What a beautiful boy to love.
ReplyDeleteGosh he is handsome. Happy Birthday Monty
ReplyDeleteHe filled out nicely.
ReplyDeleteHe was 'filled out' a little too much recently, so we had to put him on a diet.
