Proud Monty.




Were he human, he would have been giving a speech. "Stiffen the sinews, summon-up the blood, disguise fair nature with hard-favoured rage, etc, etc".

He really does fancy himself as someone to reckon with; a Prince amongst dogs. I suppose that's why we love him so (in reality, he's something of a scaredy-dog wuss).

Any more observations about his unknown fathering would be welcome (we do know his Mum was a Lab'). Great Dane is still a popular suggestion.

    Could be Great Dane. He's got the coloring and gentle look about his face and eyes that reminds me of a Golden Retriever, too. Whatever his parentage, he's a real beauty.

      He weighs over 40 kgs; not sure of his height (or even how I would measure him). He's a BIG boy.
