I buy Toulouse sausage regularly, but I've never seen it advertised previously as being 'Fabricated in our Laboratory'.
When I showed the 'Leclerc' advert to Lady M, she simply said "YUK".
I shall buy some anyway, because they're the best sausages around; but I shall try to forget that they come from their very own Laboratory.
What a horrible advert for such a wonderful product. Heads should roll.
It looks like my husband's favorite kind of sausage. I'm sure it's delicious no matter what the silly advertisement says.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely. I have no idea why they advertised it like this!
DeleteGenetically modified by our own Professeur Frankenstein???
ReplyDeleteAnd yet, it's a perfectly natural, pure meat product.
DeleteI presume it's only a bad description. It looks delicious
ReplyDeleteThey are. Pure 100% Pork.
DeleteThis is just a picture, maybe inside there is really something else ...
ReplyDeleteThey are delicious; the best sausages around.
DeleteThat is a strange advert. Is something lost in translation perhaps?
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Not that I can see. It's just an unfortunate word.
DeleteAt least it is a French laboratory.
ReplyDeleteHad it been Chinese, I wouldn't touch it.
DeleteIt doesn't look as though it has come out of a laboratory but it does look as if it may have curled into a lavatory with an enormous sigh of satisfaction.
ReplyDeleteYUK!
DeleteCumberland sausages look like Toulouse sausages. Are Cumberlands 100% pure Pork? I don't think I've eaten one, most UK sausages contain bread or 'rusk' and other additives.
ReplyDeleteI've tried Cumberland sausages mentioned by Jon S above and they are very nice, but usually too pricey for my budget, I get the store brand pork sausages which are also nice, just not as flavourful as the Cumberland which have spices of some sort in them.
