At this time of year, my attention is naturally focussed on Haddock's; it's the productive part of the garden. But there are other parts too, and here is a potpourri of some of the other bits.
And, finally, here's Billy, who's usually either chasing a Tennis Ball, or relaxing under the shade of the Quince tree.; in this case the latter. He's smiling!
How beautiful. Every corner in the garden and the wonderful view. Perfect. And Billy also adds a lot to all this beauty.
ReplyDeleteIt's all very nice at this time of year. I've just been out 'mushrooming'; Billy ran home, I think he was bored.
DeleteWhat a glorious garden - and not a plastic pot in sight!
ReplyDeleteI can assure you that there are one or two plastic pots around. My Tomatoes are all planted in them. Shame on me!
DeleteNo matter were I look your garden is full of beauty. Ending with the best of all Billy.
ReplyDeleteIt's all a bit shabby, but I don't mind that. I don't want a manicured garden; it wouldn't look right. Billy is the cherry on top!
DeleteJust gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteIt keeps me busy.
DeleteI am overcome with envy at your obvious lack of wind. After 3 or 4 glorious days we've now had several days of strong, cold winds to undo all the good the warmth had brought.
ReplyDeleteOne never knows what's round the corner. With the hot weather (33 C) storms could break out at any moment. Strong wind is always my greatest fear.
DeleteEspecially after eating pulses.
DeleteWe haven't see Billy for a while, and oh my, what a very fine gate. It must have built or redone by an excellent carpenter.
ReplyDeleteThank you kind sir. I'm very proud of my gate. It may be flimsy, and started life by flying off my roof-rack, but it's all of my own making.
DeleteYou live in paradise sir! Are you an angel? And is that a fridge on your patio or an artwork?
ReplyDeleteIt's our Summer fridge; beers, fizz, pink, tonics, etc.
DeleteNot Haddocks is looking just right
ReplyDeleteHaddock's isn't looking too bad either.
DeleteAll looks beautiful … your sedum in the urn like mine, is coming on a treat ! XXXX
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's the same as yours (unfortunately), it just stays that size and doesn't grow. I like it anyway.
DeleteI am pretty sure it’s the same ….. it should start to hang over the edge soon ! XXXX
DeleteIt's been about 5 years, and it stays the same. I need a cutting of yours!
DeleteI love these little snapshots of your garden, and Billy of course.
ReplyDeleteI actually enjoy going around the garden and taking pix at random. Nothing sanitised (as I'm sure you can see).
DeleteI like your style and the photos. Green fields, hidden treasures and your outside eating area looks very welcoming
ReplyDeleteAnd all a bit scruffy too!
