My day has been drawn out for me in advance.
There will be little time for slacking. My tasks have been timed to the minute. From 5.30 am (when I write and post this stuff), to about 15.30 pm (when I pick-up Lady Magnon from the airport) not a minute will be wasted. By the time we reach home, I'll be shattered.
My only problem is that more rain is forecast, but hopefully I'll get all my jobs completed.
Other than my usual time-consuming duties, Freddie has to have his worm pill; never an easy job. I still have one small lot of mowing to do. And I shall prepare a delicious dry Chicken Curry for Lady M; after her day's travelling, I know she'll enjoy that.
I'm beginning to really hate that airport, I've seen more of it this year than I would ever have imagined possible.
I'll catch-up with you later!
Kim has a liquid on the back of her neck for fleas and worms and then an annual pill for "longworms I think" that the vet gives her, much easier than regular pills.
ReplyDeleteI thought Lady M. had only recently returned from Oz.
Have a good day.
Freddie has the same, but the pill is for something different. Lady M seems to be permanently travelling, and it's not over yet. She has two more trips planned to London over the next month. I've hardly seen her this year.
DeleteIt's raining here. The mowing will have to wait.
ReplyDeleteLooks like it's going to rain all day! Can't get Rick out the door this morning, he doesn't like getting wet.
DeleteI was thinking the same, but Bok insists. I'm just off now.
DeleteI had my day planned till we were up all last night with a sick dog and then hospital today.
ReplyDeletecheers, parsnip and thehamish
Oh dear, not a good beginning to the day. I'm just back from dog walking, JUST AS THE RAIN ALMOST STOPS. I must now get on with my tasks.
DeleteYou have plenty to keep you out of mischief today! No time to waste on comments on your blog!
ReplyDeleteHad to look up 'mischief' twice. It still looks wrong to me but I must trust google and the thesaurus
You are so organised Cro ... go forth and achieve !!!
ReplyDeleteRaining here too and wet all week.... good for the garden. XXXX
4 cats indoors. Rain.
ReplyDeletePoured all yesterday here and still pouring here this morning.
ReplyDeleteI make lists all the time. I can't ever remember finishing an entire list on the planned day. Probably because every time I finish one thing I add more. It keeps me out of mischief though.
ReplyDeleteI read the list quickly before enlarging it, my eyes must have been crossed. I read 'mow the cat' and 'worm the lawn'.
ReplyDeleteIf he's tricky about gulping down his worm tablets, maybe you might feel like mowing him instead of worming him....
Just kidding.
Alphie
Just back from The Vet's with second tranche of annual injections and with a giant squashy tablet that avoids dotting the back fur with anti tic&flea stuff. Read the instruction (German, Dutch & French only) and will have to wait until near a meal time before hoping that it all gets consumed. I hope it 'works'.
ReplyDeleteThey say you should never have more than four things on a list, so yours is perfect. Nice handwriting too. Two more trips to London, whatever for? ....has she got another bloke over there?
ReplyDeleteIf she has it's her dentist. I have my suspicions. I'm exhausted!!!
DeleteThe rain has helped you out and you can take the mowing off the list. You are a good guy, Cro, and getting three out of four done (especially #4) should please Lady M.
ReplyDeletephoto and recipe for the chicken curry please Cro....?
ReplyDeleteToo late, all gone. I'll do a piece about it one day, it's an authentic Indian recipe, and quite simple.
