First Cèpes, now Girolles.

On Tuesday I was lucky enough to eat a Cèpe omelette, and yesterday I had a Girolle omelette.

It hasn't exactly been a wonderful start the new mushroom year, but at least we've had a taster.

Which is my favourite? I think I'll have to go with the Cèpes; but hang on, maybe I prefer the Girolles! I'm not sure.

p.s. I'm not bothering with a photo of the omelette; I'm sure you can imagine how it looked, and probably how it tasted.

    1. We've just had a night of stormy rain, so I'm now off to see what's popped up over night.

    1. Both Cepes and Girolles are quite common here; the area is renowned for them. I suppose we're just very lucky.
