My green glazed pots have seen better days; cracked all over, and repeatedly badly repaired.
Richard on the look-out for scraps.
I've extended the vines to the West of our au vent, hopefully this will give extra shade for evening dining.
Pool still closed, we usually open-up on June 1st.
Palm flowers. Pity it doesn't produce dates instead. Hmmmm.
Cro, your garden is amazing! Everything is so beautiful...it looks like a small paradise. You are a lucky soul. I'd never want to leave home for even five minutes if I lived there! :)
ReplyDeleteThey'd have to drag me away!
DeleteIt's all trick photography of course.
ReplyDeleteMirrors!
DeleteI do like your Moroccan lantern.
ReplyDeleteSouvenir of Marrakesh.
DeleteI do 't think we have seen these views of your garden before - it is all looking very Mediterranean and lush. For all you say you're not a gardener but the pictures disprove this.
ReplyDeleteThey're all self sets Elaine.
DeleteAs Elaine says - views we have not seen before, so fascinating. I love those pots with cracks - they have character. And also love those two coloured irises - mine are the boring purple and are not even in bud yet. Oh for your climate here.
ReplyDeleteDon't think I have ever seen you au vent before on you blog Cro. With Richard hanging around does that make it a chicken vol au vent?
ReplyDeleteThe simple answer is 'yes'. Or maybe 'no'.
DeleteIt looks like a paradise :)
ReplyDeleteI like the cracked pots too. I found flaked glaze and cracks on a dark red pot of mine recently and decided that I liked it :-) What lovely spaces you've made for yourselves and the irises even co-ordinate with the poultry!
ReplyDeleteIt is paradise. ( i saw cracked pots for sale here,).
ReplyDeleteYour home is beautiful Cro and you obviously lavish lots of love on it.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a lovely spring day at Chez Cro.
ReplyDeleteAre those poppies that I see in your cracked pots?
I think they're Petunias (?). I bought them at my supermarket.
DeleteThose bronze coloured irises are magnificent. I love irises. Your garden looks wonderful. I would never want to leave it.
