Praying Popes. It's cup-final day.

Dear old ex-pope Benny is praying for a German win, whilst current pope Frank is praying for Argentina.

Who their boss will reward will be revealed later this evening.

Get praying boys; the most pious wins (and let's not have any more of that 'hand of god' malarky)

  1. I read that the two popes will NOT be watching together.

Yahoo! Sport has looked at the papal influences from both sides and prophecies a win for Frank's team!

    1. Not too sure; I think I may back Benny.

    2. The omens are good for Benny. A German just won the Tour de France stage today. Last time this happened on a World Cup final day Germany went on to win 1-0 against Argentina. It's a difficult call to make Cro. I think God has a sense of humour. I wouldn't bet more than a tanner. Okay, maybe a bob.

  2. I'm not really feeling the love for either side, but as popes go the present incumbent seems a pretty okay guy as far as popes go.

  3. This really made me laugh Cro - almost made me want to watch it to see which pope won.

  6. I hope Argentina wins only because I like Pope Frank better. Benny creeps me out.
