OK, we haven't suffered anything like the Thames valley, or the flood plains of Somerset, but we have had our fair share of rain. The above was yesterday's early morning dog walk (notice, no dogs to be seen anywhere!)
Luckily this rainy period seems to have passed, and we shall now have 'some' sunshine till the end of the month; even though the temps will not exceed 13 C.
I trust this will be reflected in the UK having better weather too. Time to dry-out.
Love the splish-splosh. Sunday here was lovely no wind no rain just sun and tranquillity - at last. I even managed to get out and do a bit in the garden - bliss.
ReplyDeleteI am very lucky that 30 seconds from home there is a cycle/walking track that was an old railway line…tarmac all the way to Luton! ( about 5 miles) The pup and I have stayed mainly mud free during this awful weather.
ReplyDeleteAnd here is me, desperate for some rain! One overnight shower is all we've had in a year.
ReplyDeleteI think I'd rather have what we've recently had, than nothing at all.
DeleteThere certainly has been a lot of weather about this year!
ReplyDeleteThis week is suppose to be a little dryer. Hurrah!

I smiled when I was reading this. When my dogs were younger, they'd go tearing off on their own business. I'd meet other dog walkers and I'd say, I do have 2 dogs with me,..somewhere...
ReplyDeleteIt seems to be a wet year in so many places. Unfortunately, it seems that those that really need it are getting little.
ReplyDeleteYesterday was better, felt almost spring like.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful here today; warm sunshine.
DeleteNope..no dogs in sight. I saw where a tractor had been through.
ReplyDeleteWe are having non-stop rain and horrible winds that have toppled several large old trees. Hoping for some let up soon.
ReplyDeleteHow entertaining to hear your muddy boots squelching tonight after my day in the office. Here after a foggy and frosty start it turned out quite mild. Half term so kids everywhere ruined my lunch break..
ReplyDeleteMore rain forecast here although not as heavy and not accompanied by those strong winds, so an improvement I think.
ReplyDeleteAfter walking with the dogs on a day like that, I imagine they needed baths when you got back home. (Or maybe my dogs were the only ones who loved to slop in the mud.)
