Haddock's is Rockin'.

Haddock's has really come to life over the last week or so. Almost everything is now planted, and is doing well.

Unfortunately I had to replace my 6 Courgette plants as ants got into the roots inside their seed pots, and the plants were looking sick. My own fault.

Now I must go and sow my first row of French dwarf beans, after which I'd like a few hours of nice steady rain please.

.... and it's come just on time; thank you!

  2. Morning Cro - I guess you climbed a tree to take that lovely shot - I too am in the process of planting out despite the weather - it's all got to go out sometime, although the soil is warming up a little.

  5. Everything is in harmony with the rhythm of life when there is little rain, there is a way of casting in the garden, so the collecting of water, or do they live in dependence, and may die of thirst in shortage.

  7. Your potager looks lovely actually, very promising to be covered in green soon. Lovely scenery around.
I am just wondering if you have many ticks there in that woody area?

    1. This year has been very bad for ticks. We have to examine the dogs every day.

  8. Just as I thought.

You have stolen all of our British sun.

  9. Oh golly, look how your garden has grown while I have been away from the Blogosphere. Your irises are sumptuous but so are those red petunias and you could almost get me enthused about weigelas. Your vege patch definitely gets me enthused. Today Autumn has been blowing very ostentatiously. (The dancing holiday is to dance the Morris in the villages that it comes from)

  10. Yesterday's drizzle was wonderful for the garden but I think there must have been a heavy downpour overnight because everything looks sodden this morning. Definitely in need of more warmth and sunshine now, for me and the garden!

  11. Beautiful, but boo! to those ants.

Henry's had his share of fleas a couple of ticks due to the early spring. He's now on Advantage and is living happily. The stuff is expensive though, shew!
