Beautiful landscapes exist everywhere, but to claim that hereabouts we have more than elsewhere would be untrue. However, I can't think of many places I'd rather be than here, taking the dog out, kicking a few leaves around on a deserted woodland path. What do you think?

I must say I do miss English or European woodland - just not the same as the bush over here.
ReplyDeleteAfter reading Toms previous post I put Heligan on my bucket list - I must put French woodland on it too.
ReplyDeleteLook very similar to the woods behind my house in Devon. Can't think of anywhere else I'd rather be either - except France!
ReplyDeleteLooks absolutely beautiful, great pics and such a peaceful walk why would you want to n=be anywhere else.
ReplyDeleteI can almost feel the crunching and rustling of the dry leaves under my feet just looking at those shots Cro.
ReplyDeleteHappy walking.
I'm amazed, but it seems like the leaves dropped at the same time everywhere in the northern hemisphere this past week.
ReplyDeleteWonderful shots.
TMG. One of the pleasures of 'blogging' is to see how much we really all do have in common.
ReplyDeleteI know how it feels to be happy where you are. I say many times, there is nowhere else I would rather be right now. That is satisfaction. Beautiful in your neck of the woods too. Love how you share all your walks. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI can smell the leaves.
ReplyDeleteStunning fall photos. I am so envious. Where I live, we don't have too many wooded areas. What woods we have, were planted some 150 yrs ago by pioneers on their way on the Oregon Trail. We do have wooded areas along the rivers we have that span the whole state.
ReplyDeleteI love wooded areas as they are magical and peaceful.

Beautiful photography!
ReplyDeleteCarrieBoo: Beautiful subject matter!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty with the green ferns still growing, but covered with a kaleidoscope of fall colors and an arch leading off to somewhere else. I can almost smell that sweet, autumn air looking at these.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like an absolutely perfect place to tromp through the leaves. We're still waiting for fall to fall here. Still mostly warm, dry, and green, with tiny tinges of color here and there.
ReplyDeleteI love the woods...I grew up playing in the woods.
ReplyDeleteMe too, Jacqueline!
