All Change.

We have received news from across the pond. The world is changing fast, and this is how North America will soon look.

I can hardly remember how it used to be last year, but this is how it will soon be.

Canada is, of course, part of The Commonwealth, and King Charles 111 of Canada is the current 'nominal' sovereign.

So, the whole of North America is now back under UK sovereignty; just as it always was.

I'm not sure if I approve of The Gulf of Brighton being renamed The Gulf of Canada, but the rest is OK. We'll send Penny Mordaunt over to be the next Canadian President.

  1. Can you see if he will come and govern Scotland? We could do with a change of nutters in charge.

    3. What will the workshop be used for? Woodworking?

    4. No metal working, it's just for a hobby. Nothing serious so no pressure

  2. Thank goodness for that. Much more sensible.

  3. Ha-ha! This is funny. I signed the online petition urging The United Nations to rename Donald J Trump. Henceforth, he will be known as Satan.

    1. He's a good man. A bit before his time on many issues (especially environmental ones) but people are now catching up with him, and appreciating his concerns.

  5. I think the good people of Canada will let the UK keep Penny Mordant.

It might surprise you but most Canadians do not want the King as the head of state. Though, to be fair, that’s not much different from the UK as the latest poll indicated about 45% of the UK thought the monarchy was either not important or should be abolished.

    1. It might surprise you that we have done enough for Canada, and it's about time you stood on your own two feet. I may joke about it, but perhaps you really should quit the commonwealth and become just another US state.

    2. It might surprise you that I am not surprised.

    3. Interesting? Care to share a couple of examples of what leads you to say that?

    4. No-one's surprised about anything!

    5. I was interested in why Cro thought Canada was standing on its own two feet and how the UK has done enough for Canada.

  10. What a splendid idea! If this is how it's going to be then I'll pop out and buy myself a new atlas. My present one has almost half the world shaded pink!
