It is traditional in Thailand to eat whilst sitting on the floor, with no need for knives and forks.
I have no idea what he's eating, but he seems to be enjoying it; and I've been assured that it makes your hair curl too.
Go Mischa!
A diverse offering twixt the interesting, the unusual, and the amusing.
What a total cutie!! Looks suspiciously like cheese and bread to me.
ReplyDeleteJo in Auckland
You could be right. He seems to be enjoying it anyway.
DeleteLook at those curls!
ReplyDeleteThe food's working!
DeleteKnife & fork? Is this not the land of chopsticks?
ReplyDeleteFingers.
DeleteGood to see a photo of my youngest great nephew. He looks as though he just woke up.
ReplyDeleteMaybe that's his breakfast. Coffee with a straw, and cheese on Marmite toast?
DeleteOur mother always told us eating our crusts would make our hair curl..looks like it's working for him.
ReplyDeleteHe's an overdose of cuteness
Ftoo ftoo ftoo
He's a nice little chap. He also suffers from eczema, which can be annoying.
DeleteI can see why Granny Magnon made a detour to Thailand. He is growing up fast.
ReplyDeleteHe's very nearly 2. He's growing even faster than Billy.
DeleteHe is so cute and has clever eyes.
ReplyDeleteHe's certainly a cutie. We've not met, so I can't comment about the other.
DeleteIs he drinking coffee with a straw?!
ReplyDeleteThat's what it looks like, although I expect it's fruit juice.
DeleteI haven't got enough padding on my derrière.
ReplyDeleteI've probably got too much!
DeleteI love having young nieces and nephews, but I think having young grandchildren must be quite special.
ReplyDeleteIf only they were nearer Andrew, but I suppose that's my fault.
DeleteMischa is gorgeous and has wonderful curls. I was told to eat my crusts as they make your hair curl .... I ate them all up and my hair couldn’t be any straighter !!!!! .... and carrots didn’t help me see in the dark either !!! XXXX
ReplyDeleteYou must have been eating them upside down, or inside out.
DeleteWhatever it is it looks tasty.
ReplyDeleteHe looks happy enough. No tantrums.
DeleteWhat a beautiful child and in his wee doggie jammies too!
ReplyDeleteI hadn't noticed. They must all be Billys.
DeleteWell, at least the food doesn’t fall far. What a sweetheart! He resembles a cherub.
ReplyDeleteNot so sure about cherub, but he's a very nice little boy.
DeleteHe certainly does not seem underfed, or deprived in any way! I certainly second anything so convenient. Lord knows, my kids ate from the floor, and not in such a refined manner.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was small, I would never have been allowed such liberty! It must be the climate.
DeleteHa! I bet if you captured a crumb, the next move would have been a roll up to your butt for the sole purpose of transferring said crumb!
DeleteNom nom! Cheese toastie is everyone's favourite pacifier! ... Thailand! I don't know any of your family's stories. How long has your son lived there? Work, presumably, took them there? Was Mischa born there? We love Bangkok but I'm not sure I could live there.
ReplyDeleteHe's only recently gone there. He had ideas of buying coastal land for developing, but I think he may have changed his mind. He'll probably stay for a year or so, he's on a very beautiful small island. My oldest son has just gone for a holiday too.
DeleteMischa was born in Oz.
DeleteWell, even if they don't stay, it's a terrific experience for everyone.
