Congratulations! That makes my 169 posts seem very paltry.
ReplyDeleteMaybe, but look what it's done to me.
DeleteWill you be taking up this invitation?
ReplyDeleteUnless I can persuade her to come here!
DeleteThat made me chuckle.
ReplyDeleteI can hear it from here!
DeleteWow. That's a whole lot of blog posts!
ReplyDeleteMy two typing fingers are down to the bone.
DeleteJust think, you would never have known me if you didn't have a blog. Keep it going for another 2500 so that I have something to look forward to when I wake up x
ReplyDeleteI was telling Lady Magnon about your Russian trip recently, and referred to you as 'My friend Rachel from Norwich'.
DeleteThat's nice. I hope she didn't mind.
DeleteCongratulations and jubilations. That's a long time you've been getting up and writing at 5am...and always some interesting to note. Pity I didn't find you a few thousand blogs before
ReplyDeleteI'm not big on sleep, so getting up early is no hardship. Life here in France is fun, and I do try to share a bit of it.
DeleteMarvellous what you can produce on a computer. Hope it's legal, Cro !
ReplyDeleteCongratulations !!
I hope you're not doubting its authenticity!
DeleteCongratulations! Keep it up and, thank you Cro, for sharing your daily life and thoughts, and allowing us into your house. You always have a kind reply for everyone who comments here; I am glad I came across your blog.
ReplyDeleteGreetings Maria x
Thank you Maria; you're very generous. xx
DeleteCongratulations, my days are different when i don't have enough time to read your blog in the morning.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to know you, Yael.
DeleteWell done.....you were one of the bloggers I mentioned in my post...dedicated and entertaining..a sort of penpal.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Libby. I do my best.
DeleteWell Done! Do you know of anybody who has read them all? (Other than Mr & Mrs P.May )
ReplyDeleteI believe HM The Queen won't touch her Porridge unless she's read my page each morning.
DeleteWell done and congratulations. You prompted me to see how many posts I'd written: 3130. Split, of course between my two lives in Scotland and New Zealand. That rather surprised me.
ReplyDeleteYou're even crazier than me then. Well done.
DeleteI haven't been reading you for all of those, but I enjoy your daily posts while eating my breakfast. ( just had squashed avocado and marmite on toast). I hope to read the next 2500 though. I often refer to the bloggers I read as my friends when recounting something that has been said in a post. Have a lovely weekend. Very dark here this morning. x
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to imagine 'squashed Avocado and Marmite on toast'. It's good to have you along Frances.
DeleteApparently it is a very healthy breakfast. I spread marmite on a piece of hot toast…(no butter/spread) and then spread half a mashed avocado on top. Delicious!
DeleteSeeing as I adore both, I'll have to try it.
DeleteCongratulations Cro, I haven't read all of them, only joined a short while ago but you certainly brighten my day. Sometimes that is, not yesterday though, that was a bit of a dampener! Keep it up - your pal from Norfolk, Sue G
ReplyDeleteThanks Sue, I'd love to send you some of our beautiful sunshine, but the Post Office workers are hopeless.
DeleteThat's one hell of a lot of posts Cro ..... I bow to your superior blogging skills ...., mine are rubbish so I don't think that Theresa will be writing to me anytime soon !!!!!!! If Lady M is in Australia when you take tea at Downing Street, maybe I could step in and accompany you !!!! I think at least an OBE will be on the cards next (unless you already have one ) XXXX
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if I have any blogging 'skills', I usually just write about what happened 'yesterday'.
DeleteI'm really hoping for a K. xx
You'll be in the New Years honours list next! Arise Sir Magnon. Thanks for keeping us entertained every day.
ReplyDeleteIt's been a pleasure, Elaine.
DeleteYou may want to leave out the 'i' in 'arise'.
DeleteI hope you're not suggesting that HM The Queen has a sense of humour!
DeleteI scrolled down your sidebar because I wanted to see when you actually started blogging. 2010 it was. There are times when I am just too busy to blog, others when I feel I have nothing to write about. I always check on yours, to see what you've been up to. Congratulations on a serious commitment, and accomplishment. -Jenn
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jenn. It all comes from a severe case of insomnia; nothing better to do in the early hours.
DeleteHa-ha - are you trying to make Cro feel important?
ReplyDeleteWhat??? No!!!
DeleteI am so pleased to be able to be typing my comment just below that of Weaver's, since it was she who first provided the link to your splendid posts.
ReplyDeleteBravo!
She's a wonderful woman. Glad to have you along. Thank you.
DeletePresident Obama has never shown any interest in my blog.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
He has not show any interest in my blog filled with Scotties and crazy critters. Or the once a year rant post that is coming up this year on Halloween.
DeleteBravo indeed !
cheers, parsnip
Give him time, he's been busy.
DeleteTrue. He has a major change in his life coming up. No doubt he'll write a book and want me to be his editor.
DeleteI read this for breakfast, considered a reply, gave it up to run errands and such. Came back to make the very reply Janie has left above. Oh, well, I had a nice lunch, and it's beautiful outside today, and congratulations. 2,500 bits is a lot.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Joanne. As long as I didn't cause indigestion, you did the right thing.
DeleteDid Corbyn's letter get lost in the post?
ReplyDeleteNo, I used it to light the fire.
