Wills, Kellogg, and Boo Boo are in Thailand for 10 days, en route for Oz.
Thai food must be their favourite. For veggies it is perfect; plenty of choice and wonderful flavours.
Boo Boo's tastes are still slightly undeveloped, so he has a plate of chips; no child says no to chips.
And what child says no to relaxing on a lounger, overlooking some idyllic Thai island bay.
I love Thai food, although I am sure that the food that I taste here in our local restaurants bares little resemblance to what is served in Thailand.
ReplyDeleteYour family looks like they are staying at a lovely place.
I imagine that if the chefs are Thai, then the food should be reasonably 'authentic'.
DeleteThat balcony with the loungers looks perfect. Thai and Indian food is great for vegans (but I'd rather have the chips!).
ReplyDeleteCountries where times are hard, and poverty endemic, usually produce good veggie food. In Europe where we are all so rich, and eat meat 3 times a day, we have no real culture of veggie-ism. More fools us!
DeleteAnother Thai-food-veggie lover here, not that I have sampled much but their food has taste! Aussie cuisine has so much Asian now. I was surprised. Won't be long before boo boo absorbs it all!
ReplyDeleteActually he's a very good eater, and he behaves perfectly in restaurants too.
DeleteYes, I have memories of the different tastes experienced in Bangkok, huge variety and so tasty.
ReplyDeleteSome of the curries however are VERY hot.
I think that could have been why BB was eating chips.
DeleteYummy! I love Thai food. And what a lucky boy little Boo Boo is to travel so much!
ReplyDeleteHe's certainly well travelled, but it won't last.... School will beckon.
DeleteLove Boo Boo on the lounger !!!! .... travel, food and lounging around ..... a little guy after my own heart !!!!! XXXX
ReplyDeleteI'm just surprised he wasn't wearing his Ray Ban's.
DeleteLovely little lad....you must miss him!
ReplyDeleteWe do, already!
DeleteWhat a lovely healthy and happy family you have Cro; you're a good example.
ReplyDeleteGreetings Maria x
I wish they'd have stayed a little longer, but business calls.
DeleteMost of us have probably never had true Thai cuisine,so lucky are those who have the experience. Beautiful setting by the way!
ReplyDeleteI should think that most 'above average' quality Thai restaurants provide pretty authentic food.
Delete"Wills, Kellogg, and Boo Boo are in Thailand for 10 days, en route for Oz" very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWhat sort of work allows Wills and Kellogg to live this life style? I understand if you choose not to reply.
The world is his office. Have laptop, will travel. He works in cyber space!
DeleteWhat a beautiful family, Cro. Boo Boo has certainly mastered the art of relaxation!
ReplyDeleteHe's a very relaxed little boy. We've just spoken to him on Skype.
DeleteI would thrive at that table!
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm a bit envious too.
DeleteI would rather like to spend a few weeks there - the sea, the views and that fabulous food.
ReplyDeleteMe too Weave.
DeleteHappy days eh
ReplyDeleteFoot loose and fancy free!
