Stunning Sunrise.

I've seen some amazing sunrises; we all have! But this one a few days ago was simply staggering.

The whole sky was ablaze; one could almost have run for the hills in fear.

I really should buy a decent camera; but then I'd have no more excuses for my bad photos!

  1. If you enlarge the photo, you will see our village church spire (bottom leftish), which is exactly 2 Kms due East of our cottage.

  2. Terrific sunrise, Cro. What a joy to witness it, and get the photo. The blazing sky doesn't last long, does it.

  3. Beautiful sky. Something spring like in the air today, or maybe it's just the lighter mornings.

  4. That can really be called 'the magic of the moment'!

  5. Sunrises and sunsets such as that must have terrified the ancients when they didn't know what caused them (during the nineteen forties and fifties).

    Stunning beastie indeed!

  6. You protest too much, Sir, there is nothing shabby about your photography.

But, as Mr Heron's View hinted, was it a shabby day weatherwise after that magnificent sunrise? Red sky in the morning and all that...

    1. I think it did rain, and was bloody cold.

    1. I've always thought that they look OK from my end, but how they come out in the US, Canada, or Angola, I have no idea! I use a small Fuji AX200. €70.
